What are you talking about? He has an aftermarket lid on there. And 15whp from a lid? You must be high. On a dyno I can tell you that you will only see about a 2-4hp gain. The point of the lid is a nice increase in your throttle response.

Yeah its got the full SLP Flo pac installed already. It is on in that top pic with the hood popped. I picked up two tenths and two miles an hour at the track from stock. The flow pac uses the air from the hood and it includes a air duct that pulls air from under the car as well, a new lid, filter, and a smooth bellow.

Unless you order the optional SLP/Blackwing lid the SS uses the same lid as a Z28. Without SLP options the only change to engine/intake/exhaust is that the WS6 and SS have a larger muffler and 2.5" outlets.
I had two LS1 Camaro SS's a 2000 M6 with full SLP options and a 2002 A4 base.

I raced an 02 SS with almost the exact same mods with a 3000-3500 yenko stall, and coincidently ran almost the exact same time as this guy (12.8@109),
and I have full exhaust, 2.9 pulley Stage 2 and a bunch of cooling mods (except meth) and a nice tune by Area47 and even with him having a passenger he starting pulling me right around 80 mph till he put about 1 to 1.5 cars by around 110.
My guess is your race will be just about like mine was since I have more cooling mods, but you have a slightly smaller pulley. You'll run even with him from a 40 roll to right about 80-90 then he'll put a car or two on you. Those LS1's pull hard up top, auto and stick.
Btw, however said he has a much better chance with an auto car is dead wrong. The auto cars, especially with a stall, run much better at the track around here because most people can't drive for ****.

stalls kick ass from a dead stop, from a roll hit, the blow.
you will be at a disadvantage vs stock stall from a roll
but from a dead stop, i have seen stalled ls1's with very minor mods go mid 12's or better.
compucarnut, you mean a Yank stall?

After reading up on it some more it seems that most people would disagree with the from a roll statement. With the stall most people say that the higher torque multiplier eliminates all of the "dead spots" that a stock stalled 4l60e has. Therefore improving the cars ability to get up and go from any situation, stop or roll.

Thats right A4's are crap trannies and this makes them prone to being slower than any other car with a standard. LOL I love when I talk to people and they automatically go, "dang its an auto tho thats too bad". Of course an M6 is going to put down more power thats a given but the autos are alot faster than most people give them credit for, roll or dig. Now I have to agree from a 35-40 its gonna be a dog with the stock converter as it sits right now it stays in second and lugs till about 3,000 rpms then gets going.
