Consistent times for G35. On par with a stock ss/tc. Sad day for that camaro. Had to be the guys first time out on the strip. Or just a terrible driver. Whats with these camaro vs g35 threads anyway? Did someone get smacked around by one and vowed revenge?

well millercycle posted a previous vid of him beating a L99 Camaro SS at the track and almost everyone on here called BS. I said i would post another video of him racing another L99 Camaro SS and I did.

Well 13.8 is quite a bit slower than the 13.6 he was claiming with a **** DA. 13.8 is believable for a stock G35. The Camaro still ran better times, you had better reaction.

Camaro reaction was absolutely abysmal. 13.9? Maybe in Denver! Three runs, and three times the dude was caught sleeping his ass off.
Good runs in your G35, though. Very good off the tree each time, and very consistent.

Hey the DA was 2200 on my 13.8 run and 800 on my 13.6 run. Lmfao. DA corrected for both of those is 13.4 @ 103 mph, which happens to be the record for a bone stock g35. :P
If you check out dragtimes you notice I am only number 7 for stock/near stock 07-08 g35 sedans.
I don't see why DA corrected time of 13.4 @ 103 is that hard to fathom for fellow vq35hr owner. A 350z nismo with only 200 lbs less can do 13.1 @ 108.... Yes you know which one I am talking about.
Walked a few 350Z's tonight, sad smh. Vq35de turd buckets Sure you have had similar experience eh!
P.S.: I found out that even with VDC off I still saw traction control light flash and cut in, pissed me off! Would have 2.0 60 foots if it didn't cut in!
I get 2.1 60 foots every run I do.

I would normally say 13.9 is abysmal, but it's better then an auto SS that did some low 14's few weekends back.
Yeah lol. He had backwards hat on, looked like a douche... but he came up to me and first thing he asked "what is done to that?!" and we talked and he ended up being pretty chill.
Haha thanks! There were actually 4 or 5 T/C's running last night! I didn't see any break 13's but that's all down to the driver... and they probably did. but I just was mostly in the pits and couldn't see.
There was a stock s/c with an intake that was doing low 15's all night long at 93-95 mph though. He told us(casionerd and I) how he runs low-mid 14's and traps 100+ and all these stories. Lol, casionerds first remark was "he has never probably even seen 100 mph trap". That conversation happened few weeks back but it's the same guy.
T/c cars are very tricky to launch I can only imagine. Most of them trapped 103-109 mph.
Eh idk, I thought I was going to get in trouble for posting another thread. But my friend thought it was good race and not all the threads on here have cobalt ss in them, so figured what the heck. It was good video footage too.

So much fail in this thread.. the camaro owner for sleeping off the lights even though it ran better times/traps in all three races even though its on huge rims... And the people who think that a bone stock SS/TC is a low-mid 13 second car Factory stock.. If according to the best drag times on this site and google/drag times website mean there are less than 10 owners that have done a 13.8 or less that does NOT mean that every stock SS/TC is on par with those times according to how many people own one VS the people who did it! Call me crazy!

Why is everyone concerned about the camaro guys reaction time? If you know anything about a test n tune day, reaction doesn't matter. You can see at a green light for an extra minute or even the whole night and it still won't effect your time. Get over yourselves people.

A DA corrected time of 13.4 in your "stock" car is hard to fathom BECAUSE I have a stock HR 350Z that ran a 13.4 in negative DA. Go have a look on My350Z. I'm number 6 in the bone stock list. My track is Gainesville, altitude is 106ft. The others that have run these very fast times have done it when it was cold on tracks that are very close to sea level, you know when DA is a negative number. The average time for a stock HR 350Z is 13.5.

Well that didnt take long for this thread to get **** on.FYI he never said he beat the camaro in this thrread or that he was faster than it. Secondly Im pretty he has posted a slip before of his 13.6 pass; if not he willl again. it was a cold day and the DA was low just like u say it has to be. i believe it was like 40-45 degrees that day they were going to close the track hadnt it been for a camera crew being there shooting a documentary show.

800 is not low. 0 is low. -200 is low. 800 is slightly better than an average day at a 1000ft track. There is no way his car at sea level is faster than mine at sea level. The laws of physics do not allow it. He claims his is stock.
I know what my car put down on the dyno. I actually had it dyno'd and it is stock. If he is making the same power as me, in a heavier car he is slower. Hands down no two ways about it. Especially if his 60' is worse. His car is not stock. If his G35 is stock then I can claim my 300ZX is stock.
case in point. This guy ran a 13.4 in his G35 sedan he says is stock. However take a look at that DA. -1500 feet. The air was so dense that day it was the equivalent of being 1500 feet below sea level.

The fail part is assuming that the SS/TC is a low mid 13 second car. If less than ten have achieved it on this board and most of the drag times listing are not even cracking 14's Bone stock then it's really not a mid-low 3 second car for most people cause they lack the driving skill! It's FASTER than a stock SS/TC in the quarter mile except for a few Amazing driver's that have gone from 13.8-13.5! Which most of those fast times are on this board. so less than ten people have done and there are how many SS/TC's out there? In reality it's a fraction of a single percent of people who have cracked 13's in any form verses the amount of cars produced! And i pulled a fail?

Oh you can see a tune or gears? You have the differential cover off or Osiris hooked to it? If so then his car must be special. Park it in the garage because that sucker is better than all the others on the road.
