Got Challanged.....what you guys think?
One of my brothers friends (spoiled little rich kid) just got a 2nd car a 2004 mustang gt with a vortech supercharger, and different gears in the rear end, wants to race me i think im going to be better off waiting till i get my charge piping and tune!
i have 08 ss/tc hahn intake, bov spring, 3 inch catless dp, and muffler delete, even though i think it my be not too bad of a race being that i beat my dads 03 mustang gt with intake exhaust and tune by 6 cars and was still pulling away hard.. let me know what you think.

ok so 04 GT with vortech?correct me if i'm wrong but i'm assuming he droped the vortech on the 4.6 2v motor?....that car is a straight dig race car i'm assuming so do a roll race an dig race and u stand a chance at the roll race seeing as how i would guess he's slower than a Terminator and the gears will hurt him higher up but IDK i'm not that knowledgable on Stangs

hard to say cause they rarely stay stock for very long. lol

Do you even realize that a supercharged mustang gt is totally different from your dads 03 mustang that just has intake exhaust and tune?I doubt you will dust a supercharged mustang gt.

i was under the impression the 05 to 09 body style was refered to as the new edge i now know its called condor i guess...as i said idk much about that stuff with stangs

Sorry to say but I would say the 'Stang would take it. That's a lot of power he's pushing and those cars are not a lot heavier than ours. Good luck none the less though!

FWIW,
I've got a Vortech supercharged '01 GT in the family. In full street trim (40 psi in the tires, spare, books in the back, etc) with cheap Fuzion tires it went 12.9@110. Mods are just catback exhaust and the Supercharger. I guess it has a better intake manifold, too, since it's a Bullitt. Stock gears, stock everything else. It makes 375whp.

Get your charge piping and a tune first. And for god sakes run from both a dig and a roll, so you might not be completely humiliated both times. If he can't drive from a dig and you can you should win a dig race after your tune.
If you race him before you get tuned I predict him embarrassing you.
