Haha, considering they run low 13's stock! You want to go really fast for cheap, buy a 2003 or 2004 Cobra...If you can find someone selling one with a Kenny Bell already on it. As a matter of a fact, theres a 2003 Cobra with a 2.2L KB on it for sale by me right now. 24000 or best offer...runs 10s
My friend Kevin made 600 RWHP witha 2.2L Kenny Bell, intake, header exhaust. Never had the valve covers off his car. No bottom end work, no cams, no heads nothing. Just bolt ons and a KB

apparantly alot of people on this site, think an ls1 f-body can run right with a stock terminator and will mod nearly as well......BAHAHAHHAAH.
never buy a car that has extensive mods like that because it has been beaten up like a mother 90% of the time. A few months ago this guy came on to the mustang forums asking if he should buy this terminator...he said it was stock and the owner said it was never raced....well nobody noticed, but somebody finally pointed out that the thing had totally WORN drag radials on it LOL. be very careful buying a used, modded car.
lol that would be the best trade of all time...

**** that man....get a stock cobra and put a smaller pulley, exhaust, tune, intake, maybe some suspension stuff in there and have an 11 sec car that you will definately be satisfied with....or go turbo .

I believe that with the flash and the boost controller, he can jack the boost up past 20 pounds no problems. No Evo guru thouh, so don't quote me.

Mod for mod an LS2 wont keep up with a terminator. Intake, exhaust, pulley/tensioner, and a tune with slicks and you have a low 11 car. You may be able to do that with a C6...Maybe. I'd bet almost no chance with a goat.
20 psi is a little high. Possibly if hes running a 93/110 mix, or water/meth. Figure 3 psi of boost equal .5 compression point. So 18 PSI would be a full 3 points higher on the compression ratio (say 9:1 now equals 12:1).
And if you do buy a highly modded car, just remember, it has had the hell beat out of it. If your buying it for a project anyway, thats not a problem. But dont expect a modded terminator to be realible, because YOU will be beating the hell out of it once you buy it.

Maybe not an LS1 but sure as hell an LS2, and there is no denying. Of course that is a different discussion entirely.

I've got a great video of a "Stock" Evo MR whooping the butt of a Kenn Bell Supercharged Rousch Mustang. Turned out the Evo had stroker, cam shafts, uppipe etc. It was all hidden mods, and was making 450hp.
That Mustang was crazy fast too, but the EVO had it by 2 cars with in a block.

Stock for stock, an 03/04 Cobra is a driver's race with an LS2 GTO. I've raced two stock ones and we pretty much split across several runs. Neither car pulled any more than a half-car in any case, and most were a fender or less.
Mod for mod the Cobra definitely has the advantage since it comes with a blower. Intake, exhaust, pulley, and a tune definitely accomplish more on a Cobra than intake, exhaust, and a tune do on a GTO. Cammed and forced induction GTO's will certainly stay right there with most any Cobra. Moral of the story, you can get to excellent power levels quicker and cheaper with the Cobra, but at no point does it get out of the range of a GTO. We respect their cars, they respect ours, and it's been earned both ways.
I wish I could recall what they consider the upper range of the stock blower to be.

We line up at 40 and go and by me hitting 145 he had probably a bus on me. I dont understand it!? Everyone is talking about beating stock evo's all the time and i have some pretty decent mods and I just got raped by a stock one . WTF!?

That doesnt make much sense man...Well I got beat by an Evo VIII this mornin. Not worried about it though. We raced form sixty, then from about seventy...Dunno wut was done besides exhaust. That was the only obvious mod...IMO evos are beefier than STis. Raced an STi on the interstate from 80-135 or so in the rain and I had him by half a car....! Again I dunno if this was stock, but I hope so haha. All I got as a 3" pulley and an airbox mod. So go figure....
