What I like better and what I do are two different things.
I much prefer road racing. I go to Summit Point raceway in WV and watch such events like Hyperfest and Redline Time Attack every year. MUCH more interesting than drag racing IMO.
Now what do I do in my SS? In terms of racing, pretty much nothing. I've taken it drag racing a few times, but I don't take it seriously. I'm usually too lazy to even pull the 19"s off, so when I do go to the track, its on my 19"s w/ my shithouse Nankang tires, trunk is usually full of crap, etc etc. With a proper set of wheels/tires I'm sure it'd pull some good times in the 1/8 or 1/4 with my motor work and tuning I have done, and same thing goes with a road course, as I've got the basics for suspension/brakes as well (springs, strut bar, sway bar, rotors, pads). But sadly, I don't have the money nor the time to prep the car for such events these days.
My car was built to be a daily driven streetcar, and that's what it does best. I mean sure, I take it to car shows and racing once in a while, but being as its 2 years old, has 52k miles on it, and its fair share of imperfections, it pretty much just serves its role as a day to day streetcar.
