so i just started a new job last month i dont really know anyone yet. i go into the back room today and i hear someone talking you see that yellow car out there i bet my cavalier could smoke that ****. i turn around and say 100$ says you cant.
guy at work: huh?
me: you heard me 100$ says your cavalier cant beat my cobalt
guy: thats just a new cavalier its exactly the same car
me: no actually there are no interchangable parts between the cobalt and the cavalier.
guy: come on man its the same car i bet the windows will fit.
me: im not lieing to you its a whole new car. i bet my SC wont fit your cavi
guy: man quit foolin there the same car.
me: you wanna race 100$
guy: idk man i feel bad taking your money
me: meet me at valero at 9:15 100$ winner takes all
guy: ok
anyway this guy drives a rusted 89 cavalier v6 and he says hes gonna be there i (doubt he'll show up tho)
ill let you kno how it goes should be fun maybe ill give him 4 cars or so to make it interesting.
not that it matters but my mods are CAI, H/DP, custom tune

some of the things you said werent technically correct though.....
your S/C will fit on the newer cavy, in fact you can buy the kit direct from GM.
and while the LSJ engine is quite different, the 2.2/2.4 are not far removed from the newest cavy engines.
I wouldnt be surprised if there are some interchangable parts.
i think maybe he meant the cobalt is similar to the newer cavys, not his older one lol.
well...unless hes just a tard...

the 2.4 is WAY removed...
the 2.2 and LSJ have more in common than the 2.2 and 2.4
they're all pretty good engines, but the 2.4 is not just a larger 2.2

tagged to hear he was a no-show
i usually ask people things like;
what's the same about it? what engine is in your car. o, you don't know. that's cool. what tranny is in your car? o, you don't know. what suspension is on the car? normally by that point they give up because they feel stupid, and will say something along the lines of "well your cars a piece of **** and my car is faster"
