Hack vs G35x
So I was on my way home from picking up my buddy earlier, when I pulled up to a redlight in the righthand lane behind another car. As I was sitting there a new (2007+) G35x pulled up next to me.
When the light turned green the G35 took off normally, then hit it and accelerated kinda quick.
I changed lanes to the lefthand lane and got behind the G35x. As soon as he saw me change lanes, he slowed down and matched speed with the car in the righthand lane so I couldn't pass.
I followed for about a mile when the car in the righthand lane turned off. As soon as the car turned off, I heard the G35x hit it, so I dropped my car into fourth and hit it at ~40mph. I walked the G35 HARD, easily pulling past him. I merged back in because the righthand lane ended.
At this point I figured the guy lost a lot of pride because he slowed down alot, so I started driving just under the speed limit to keep him in sight. A few miles up the road opened up again to four lanes, so I stayed about 2 mph under the speed limit, and the guy SLOWLY caught back up to me.
So I'm in the righthand lane going ~43mph (speed limit is 45) when the G35x catches up, he passes me going quite a bit faster, then as soon as he gets next to me, he slows down and matches speed.
We ride neck and neck for about 30 seconds, then I hear him hit it, his back end drops as he accelerates. I'm ready with my foot on the clutch, I mash it and shift from 6th to 3rd (I could have gone to second, but it ends at 60mph, so I did 3rd) the tires broke loose (thanks to 8" wide snow tires). Thankfully, the traction control kicks on and keeps the tires under control. I leave him like he's sitting still, I wind out 3rd gear to redline (~95mph). When I let off I was about 3 bus lengths ahead.
That's honestly the best match I've had so far with my car.

Drop it, I'm sick of hearing about this manifold stuff, it's between Beck and Hack so just leave it at that.
And quit the stupid bickering too!

Guys, who cares if he's a GTO, GM product right? Domestic right? Classic Domestic vs. Import and domestic owned. I enjoy hearing that. So for those with Cobalts calm the **** down. Props for the race dude.
