Man this is so hard to believe how people are saying these cars are this quick, my buddy only lost to an ss/tc by a half car to 115 from a dig, 40 roll and 60 roll?? In his 05 IRL with Intake/exhaust/clutch....IMHO i think the ss/tc is way over rated. I raced one as well and i have lots done, it wasnt even a race after i hit 80. I barley beat lightly modded M6 LS1's or i lose...Lightly modded meaning lid /exhaust. And these being 40 rolls.....

when properly setup, nitrous is just as safe as any other power adder. its just more expensive than people anticipate to do a good wet system with a tune and all the right accessories

FI is more stable, and in the long run more cost effective.

Ok....so you beat a turbo'd GSR hatch.....but the turbo'd GSR hatch beat the EVO with full bolt ons? Which means you'd beat the EVO w/ full bolt ons? Umm....I don't think so....

I'd like to race the ls1 cars that you guys race, because all the ones I race seem to be quite a bit faster. Too date, the only ls1 car's I've beaten are bone stock '04 GTO's. But I'm fairly modded.

How is it less reliable???

cylinder pressure is cylinder pressure, whether you're talking about turbochargers, superchargers or nitrous oxide; it's all about setup and proper tuning. NA is beside the point..we are talking about power adders...

N20 is MUCH more tempermental than a FI setup. Pressure, bottle temp, and a REALLY good tune are all issues that need to be addressed. Personally, Ive seen more N20 kabooms than FI problems.

The fact of the matter is, I can start up my TC'd car, run consistant power, and not have to worry about how much N20 is left in the tank.

LOL @ not very safe or reliable. That is an uneducated statement. In the past 6 years i've had over 200 bottle fills on my Mustang with only having 2 melted plugs and one nitrous backfire. Both hiccups were my fault on the tune. I love boost but the hit of the bottle is intoxicating

Yes your turbo car that rolled off the factory floor with a turbo. Come back when you actually turbo or sc a car that started life n/a. There are just as many nightmares to deal with as there are with nitrous setups.

^ This is why Id prefer a solid NA build or FI. Instant power, less finnicky, longer lasting.

Why would I? My car is FI, and FI is better than NA and N20. All the cars I buy are FI because its better than having to run a bottle, or rebuild the engine.

Its already built to handle a FI setup, which is what I want to run.

Your arguement: My car is FI and has no problems! Thanks dodge! Nitrous is too finnecky for the r&d dept. over at dodge so they put a turbo on my car so I don't have to think

any application. If I got a V8, Id get a termi. Why? Its built to boost already, which is what I was going to do anyway.

Same thing with other cars. Id probly never get a NA anything, unless it was a V10+. Even then though at that price range it would still be better to get a shelby and swap a kennie in it.

screw N20. Bigger turbo/SC is always better.
