Highway race - SS/SC vs 04 STi
Today on my way home from work, on the Hardy Toll road I ran into a 04 STi, for a while he acted like he didnt want to race, but after about 5-6 miles of me enticing him he finally took off he was a good 5 car lengths behind me when he took off. I didnt go till he was already passing me. I ended up topping my SS/SC out at 143mph and for those of you from Houston, you know how many curves are on this road. He was barley pulling on me. We went about 3 times from about 80mph till top speed and continued to go. I thought that I was going to loose alot worse than I did. I dont think he ever even pulled a car length on me all three times.

i always thought that the STi would pull way harder than the SS, but i have heard these stories a lot. i personally have never raced one, but it seems like in stock form they arent too much faster(in straight line that is...).

Who cares they both have around 300 hp and we are rated at 205! Thats 95 hp right there! Its pretty crazy that we only get beat by these cars instead having our asses handed to us.
