Husband vs. Wife 05 tacoma vs. 06 2.4ss
well after a long argument over whos car is faster, me and the wife loaded up in our rigs, my 2005 toyota tacoma trd sport 6 speed and her 2006 2.4 auto SS and went down to the local stoplight by our house and lined them up with my friends s2000 trailing behind us.
Light turned green, i spun off the take off baddly so she had a nose on me, 2nd gear 40mph i dead even , by 60mph i had 1/2 to 3/4 of a car by the time we hit 100 i had a 3-4 car lead, in fact i was holding strong against the s2000, but he came on by when i shut down at 110. i was impressed with the SS! it was very close
this race was in a REMOTE part of town on a LOOOOOOOOOOng straight stretch of 4 lane highway.
guess im on the couch tonight. LMAOjust kidding were getting drunk!
heres the new tacoma:

the LOWEST 1/4 mile time on a xrunner N/A is 14.7 and a prerunner like mine has ran a 14.79, a bad driver in a xrunner can put down high 15's. i would like to race a ss/sc for fun i know i would get beat but it would be fun

thats a nice SS/SC you have, i bought this truck over a SS/SC g85 for the same price but the cobalt was new my truck was used, the wife said i couldnt have a car like hers. LOL with a S/C the xrunners can run low 13's to high 12's, but no one has perfected it yet.
