I don't have very many issues with my Spec 3+. Before it was broken in, it would slip, but since it's broken in it hasn't. There has been some issues even with some of the aftermarket ones though. Do a search, you'll see.

Why would you tell them you beat on your car? That's a no no.

Stage 2 clutch would only give them more ammo to use against you at this time. I'd have them take a look at it, and if they tell you no, take it to a different dealer... But don't tell them you beat on it.

i let off the clutch easy at about 3k
Do you mean you slipped the clutch at 3 grand? That could glaze it over right there, not good on it at all.

Even if I want to get on it on this car let off of the clutch early in the rpm band.. I haven't raced but I have driven her hard and no issue like what you are saying.

Also.. maybe this isn't good for raceing but do not SLAM the crap out of the gas pedal with every shift. getting WOT is fine but no need to do it as fast as possible. Try to feel the car some.

I know that sounds like esoteric zen of driving bs... but after 14+ years driving I think I get the hang of this stuff.

My guess is you have a slipping clutch. That's a wear item, so no warranty to void really. It could do it under normal driving if you hurt it bad enough. slipping the clutch off the line is an easy way to bake your clutch.
