as a member of jbo i left there when i got my 04 f150 i ditched the cavalier but the jbo forums are filled with jokers / kids that have nothing better to do then go off on each others cars / mods amongst other things.

I could care less I personaly think sunfires and cavaliers are pieces of ****. I would never have bought the cobalt if it wasn't for the performance and the price that came with it. I have had a jeep and f150 and now a cobalt. When the dealership suggested another cobalt since I wasn't willing to pay the 28000 they wanted I was like hell no it's either the ss/sc or I'm walking and Ill take my business to the dodge dealer.

yea that site is a joke now ones i get the cobalt im not bothering with the site anymore. half the poeople on that site dont even own jbodys anymore let alone american cars. like the one that got me banned drives a toyota. i hate how people juge the car when they dont give it a chance you dont see the cobalt with a recall with the gas pedal geting stuck "civic" or the sunroof class breaking "scion TC". only recall i here on the cobalt is the headlights?

its funny how the talk about imports say honda and how they are so much better. All my friends that are in the same car club as me drives imports except 2, 5 civics 3 nissians 1 scooby 1rx7, 1elipcse and two svt focus's. but anyhow everyone of them say that they think our car is one of the best cars chevy has put out minus the corvettes.

I don't give anybody problems because their car is from another country.
Mainly rag on hondas/civics because 95% of the cars around here that are extreamly loud, slow, and look hideous is a honda.

ok i looked up on edmunds.com what the gas thing was and i found theres 3 recalls on the car already and its been out for not even a year? humm

Well in the eyes of the j-body guys (and i used to be one) when we heard the "new cavalier" was being produced everyone had high high hopes. They thought it was going to be the end all be all of compacts For example: doing 13sec 1/4miles, look better (and not resemble anything close to an import) , weight 2500lbs and cost 15k all wrapped up into one.

I loved my old 96 Sunfire GT. It had over 110k miles on it when I traded it in a couple years ago. I don't ever recall thinking of the car as crappy but I took a 2001 GT outside the shop for a customer today and compared to my new Pursuit, the interior was straight out of the Flintstones. I also drove in a 2004 Civic for the dealership down the street and found the Pursuit's interior to be equal in quality and superior in ergonomics.
