I'm runing a 2.8 pulley and I have ZERO exhaust mods.... just a CAI. With the colder air at night (30-40degrees here in MI) my PEAK boost numbers are 19-20lbs but average 18-19lbs on a daily basis. Jason(Maxboost) has driven/and rode along in my car so he can assure you I'm hitting 19-20 at peak but 18 on average. So like Rob stated... I must have some exhaust restrictions. I don't go by peak boost levels anyway. I'm mainly concerened about the A/F ratio and how the car is driving.
Ya, when Jason gets his kit we can go to a dyno and then to Milan to check out the differences. That should be fun
We practically live like 2 miles away from each other. Jason.... when the weather gets warmer and more people start crusing around, we can hit Gratiot and video a run against some cars with this kit.
Looks Like I might have to do an exhaust soon. Either way I think the kit has proven to me it's well worth the money.

Heck yea Daren, I'm down to cruise. We'll have to get some of the other local guys involved too. I hope you can make it out to the big meet in May.

Oh, didn't mean to offend anyone about the age, I was just trying to show everyone that Rob has been doing this as long as some have been alive.

Nice race man
Being that you edged out an LS2 GTO, you should be in the low 13's, maybe even high 12's with a perfect launch.
Thats about what automatic LS2 GTo's run, the 6-speed manuals are a few tenths faster.
Congrats on the win, take your car to the track and get some timeslips!!

I did see a SRT4 Stage 3 on the Highway a few days ago. The car was blue with Stage 3plastered on the doors in white. Had a whole bunch of guages on the pillar and looked cool. The michigan license plate was "FRANI". Looked good, and wanted to run him, but he got off the exit. Not sure if that's someone here on the board.

Car feels like a 12, but in reality...it will take alot more to break the 12's. It think like you said it's a mid 13 sec car. Launcing this car is hard. I'm use to RWD cars and the FWD thing is getting to me. Hopefully with the dampner and other mounts I can get rid of the wheel hop and get a decent time at the track.

Hey nice kill Daren . Should put your SS trapping in the 106-107 area if you were hangin with the guy . There were about 4 2005 LS2 GTO's at the track a couple weeks ago and I dont recal any of them going below 106 all day .
Even a muffler alone would help you out on the exhaust side . I went from 98-99 traps to consistent 102 mph with just adding a muffler with the stock exhaust .
The reactions of hangin with or beating V8 cars in this car is priceless
