Jeep SRT8 Vs SS/TC E47
Finally got the chance to see Fast and Furious last night (so outrageous its funny) and go figure on my cruise home a guy in a Jeep SRT8 pulls up next to me and immediately I hear a loud supercharger, cams, and exhaust.. I think ok this should be good, I knew they make good power stock but are heavy.
We hit freeway and he turns on his gopro, I honk it off at ~45 in second and my weight advantage plus him roasting tires gives me a car or so till 90-100 at which point he walked past me and had maybe 2 cars before he shut down at 120. gave each other thumbs up and parted ways. no clue how much power he had but i would guess ~80+ over stock easy, sounded mean! mods are in my sig.
side story: I am about dead even with a friends built LS with s252 on ~10-12psi and E85, drivers race (he made 347whp 296tq). EFR time? ha

i ran what i assume was a stock one from 60mph to roughly 110. i put about a car on him with just GMS1.
not sure how they'd fair from a 40 roll.
good run! sounds like it was beast.

-hmm... roasting the tires? it's AWD...hmmm. yeah, from a roll, they're a bit heavy- SC should have made up for that though. from a dig though, most likely would have killed you.

my dad had one before he traded for the 300c srt8. from a dig yes he would pull on me, til about 60 then i would catch up and pull about a car on him, but thats it. those srt8's are quick for there size and if the guy you raced was supercharged and spinning tires, he most likely is pushing closer to 700+ whp. i dont think 600whp would roast tires.

they probably only put down about 360 to the wheels stock.
