Just another srt4 killed
This was the first race I wasnt sure of the results. I've raced a stock Speed3, a '09 Shelby and a '10 ZR1 just for ***** and giggles, I dont think I need to post about those results lol
Anyways a kid I met down at college has a SRT4 with side exit pipes, catless downpipe, FMI, CAI, clutch, and a 21 PSI tune. I don't know anything about his tuner but he talks like it was pretty simple, he said the tune only holds 16-17 psi. I asked him if he wanted a retune and he said the A/F is fine so he doesnt see a point in retuning, who knows lol
I have Turbo XS catted downpipe, Hahn catback, Hahn CAI, Turbo XS hot/cold charge piping, and a really conservative CSS3 tune(23 psi, reduced timing, no full boost till 4k).
First we did a 35 run, he honked on all runs ,we agreed on brake boosting and 3rd gear. I pulled instantly on him, by 100 I was ~3 car lengths ahead.
Next pull we agreed on 40 and I wouldn't brake boost, he pulled maybe a foot or two ahead of me and I did a ricer flyby.
This time we agreed on 35 and he would start in 2nd, brake boost, and I would start 3rd w/ no brake boosting. He pulled ahead maybe half a car length, shifted, and I passed him up again.
No video/pretty common race, but I'm kinda suprised and wanted to post. I want to see how I stand up to a new 5.0/LS1/etc..now

Why the **** would you start a roll race in 3rd @ 35mph? The same logic would reason that you start a 60 roll in 5th. lol
BTW, when I roll race, I start in whatever ******* gear I want. Good kill.

To the OP good kills but just a heads up if you havent already caught on, your clutch will not last long at all doing pulls like this. If your going to do pulls at 35mph i would suggest doing them from second and just learn how to feather threw the spinning.

I dont get why people agree on gears. Just agree on a speed and use the gear that would be most appropriate. It aint rocket science to roll race.
His tune sounds like he has a diablosport canned tune, which is very simple. It's decent, but vs a tuned Cobalt TC it is no match. Now he's gonna put it on e85 and want a rematch...
