Just came back from the races.

It was Thursday night and the local street racing teams get together and race. So I went out with my crew was not planning on racing, but I got called out by a 4 door 2.2. The guy had several mods exhaust, intake and was shooting 70 shot of nitrous. We did 2 races. The first race we went from a dig he honked it off and I had a late reaction so he had 2 cars on me. Got a little of wheel hop shifted into 2nd and the story was over caught up and ended up wining by 4 or 5 cars. 2nd race same result but a little better reaction time.

Dont race that much but I would love to practice my launching. Am not bad at it but wheel hop is horrible so I have to launch carefully.

Mods are in sig.

bump

Yeah after this race am definitely getting one wheel hop slows you down a lot. Any good places where you can find a cheap ingalls torque damper?

Gravana usually has a package deal with upper/lower bushings and Ingalls TD. They eliminated my wheel hop altogether after I installed them and adjusted the TD correctly. Only downfall is the dash begins to rattle since the engine doesnt move anymore. Small price to pay if you cant stand wheel hop and losing traction all the time. I think I paid about $130 for both, well worth it~easy install

the tq dampener will stop the wheel hop, but the SC is very unique to launch. You'll get used to it. This car will really turn you into a monster launcher when you move on to a different vehicle. I know the TC is so easy to launch my sister could do it. I dont use the launch control.

I duno why you keep bumping it, you didnt ask any questions about why you didnt get traction, or mods you should get.

Listen to this guy, he knows what the hell he is talking about. But they are called Rotated Mounts... not reverse mounts.

It is. Once you have the Rotated Mounts, if you want, you can search out and buy some SS/TC Axles... and then you will have pretty much made your own GM Wheel Hop kit.

All that their kit is, is SS/TC Mounts and Axles.
