If u looked in his engine bay, the KB SC was almost parallel with the front bumper lol, i also raced him. That kid has to be the fastest LSJ in miami!

yeah it has to do with the $3500 SC he has strapped to the top of it. but he must have internals too. I didn' tthink a whipple could be ran with our stock internals. he was probably spraying to get that too at least I would think so.

It could be possible that each pound of boost on his setup yields more. Made sense, its like comparing 20psi on the stock srt4 turbo, i believe its a tdh3<?dont remember>, vs 20psi on a 50 trim turbonetics t3/t4! Hell, 650cc injecters and a 50trim swap on a srt4 can make about 400 horses on 17LB of boost!

no, sock internals, custom snout and custom injectors. He also had a bracket type gasket to fit the sc to the intake manni. Custom intake, DP, and custom 3 inch exhaust. Tuned with hp tuners. no spray, i assure you. i take my ass whoopin like a man dude.

I have also heard of afore mentioned Kenne Belle swap, I have also heard #'s. This swap costs a lot less than I ever would have geussed, especially for the gains!

i'm not saying his car isn't fast I just dont think he could just throw on a kenne belle. i was thinking of buy one but decided against it when all the research showed that i would have to replace internals.

I drove a new SRT-4( well it only had about 5K on the odometer) and was all stock except for a blow off valve and two day's later I drove an SC Cobalt with the stage two, exhaust,CAI and smaller pully- I think 3" he said the pully was? I must say there was no comparrison in the"seat of the pant's) meter- the SRT felt that much quicker- like their was no comparrison. I know the SRT feels like a tinnier car- maybe that affected how it felt?

S2 SS is faster than a stock srt4, that for sure! BTW yes its fackin tiny in the srt4
Oh, someone gets some damn pictures of this Kenne Bell swap! I am truely interested.

Hopefully both will come to the strip this weekend( if they don't call it for rain again) and we will see what these cars can do on the same day at the same track. Neither have ever been to a dragstrip but both drivers are in their 40's and have owned quick cars in the past so the driver mod should be pretty close but the SRT guy said he would not beat it to hard and the Cobalt guy was worried about the start. What's the bolt pattern on the Cobalt wheels- I have some 23x7.5 M&H slicks we could try on 5x100 rims. Sorry if I am a little off the main topic but for some reason I am blocked from starting a thread?
