What is it that you drive that requires all Hondas to have boost in order for a fair run?

in my years of owning boosted cars, ive been beat by two hondas on the street, a supercharged s2k and a turbo prelude. since ive yet to be walked by one thats n/a my opinion stands.

Trust me im not a hater at all, i love all cars, but its just a fact that some cars are faster then others.

That's your problem right there. People don't realize that (most) of the guys who actually build fast Hondas race legally. That is why it is ultra-rare for people to come across a fast Honda on their commute. If you happen to come across one on the street, chances are he won't race you. There are far less respectable Hondas on the street than at the strip. Because most of the Honda drivers stick to illegal racing and have no self control. Drag legally and you WILL find plenty of Hondas that would waste your car or other Turbo cars. And most of them should be fully street legal too. It get's a little more serious when you go to an actual event. This goes for N/A and F/I Hondas.

Well considering I raced a HB Civic with a Type-R swap and was raped, I'd say you would not. I know it's not the same engine but they, the 1.8 Type-R engine and 2.2 Prelude engine make about the same horsepower.

The torque is noticeably different however. I love my H.

And redlines. I'd give the edge to the Type-R swap but an HB with the 2.2 Prelude engines are no slouch. I watched guy with a gutted HB running a 2.2, full bolt-ons, still N/A running high 12s. The Type-R swapped car I raced was a fully dressed HB with a CAI and catback only.

Fast Na Honda . No torque so they have to rev over 7K to make power. My dad had a S2000 and unless you drove it like you stole it it was painfully slow. Very nice gear ratios though. I wish my cobalt had those tight gear ratios. No torque equals a very unentertianing car to drive IMHO.

Well with certain swaps, for example, a 4-6th gen with a H-series engine or any Year Civic hatchback with a K24; while the engine may not have as much torque as a V8 or a equal/higher displacement factory turbo car, it will feel alot more powerful in low and mid range due to the tq/kg ratio. That is compared to the chassis that powerplant belongs in for the most part.
