wow, reminds me of my runs form this past Friday.
the track here is the same way ,Orlando SPINworld. my runs got worst as the track got worst , they didnt stop once to do any track prep in between runs, 4 whole rotations between drag,street and bikes with no prep between any of them.
my first run was a lt1 z28 with at lest exhaust, i went 14.4 @101 with a 2.35 60' good launch , but then i spun thro most of 2nd,i took him by about 5 cars , i think he spun allot and let off before the trap becasue he went 15.4@ 86 or something retarded
dont rember the 2nd car i ran , but i rent 14.6@101 2.460 60' with wheel hop in first and some spin in 2nd .
then i raced a newer Tiburon GT with intake and exhaust ,(maybe more) i fubard the launch hard core
spun and hopped thro 1st, and hoped nasty in 2nd , and let off alttile till i hooked up then back to full throttle. By that point he was about half a car or so in front of me so i had to play catch up , i reeled him in and past him alittle before the 1000 foot mark. i was impressed with my recovery to a 14.64@101 tib went 15.4@89 or so.
at this point im getting pissed , becasue the track is just getting worse and worst , i make one more run and and they match me up with some back yard special caged out drag truck with slicks and no license plate , now im really pissed becasue not only were they not keeping up on the track but they weren't enforcing that drag cars couldn't run with street cars(i don't care about getting beating, i care about some 800hp car losing control and crashing into me...).
so i throw away the run for my safety , and sit at the light till hes half track lol, (he went 12.5@12X.xx he let off and coasted threw the trap)
i ran 14 ******* 9 at 100.88 ,2.7 60'. bad spin off the line ,bad spin and bad hop in 2nd let off ,got back on the gas and spun some more in 2nd. track was pure ****...
i was talking to a guy with a eg coupe with a turbo ls swap, he was running mid 14s while trapping 115
his best run was a 13.5 so i wasnt the only one having a bad night.
my best run ever was during a day time funday Sunday event , the track was prepped after every 2-3 rotations. and the vht was nice and tacky due to the sunlight.

This is why I cant wait to buy a traction control box. It referred to by the NSRT4 community as the driver mod. Land consistant 1.9's and less with it. Simply amazing.
