I believe the 60-1 flows like 10-20% less than a 35r. Not saying it isnt a viable turbo.....

thank you!!!!!!!! at least someone is on my side. It's just not impressive at all. GT35r and less power than a measily tvs blown car on the same psi? LOL at that. Not only that, but a 2.3ltr DI gt35r making less power than a regular 'ol 2.0 fuel injection blown car. LOL.

keep in mind, people the dyno wasnt happy. What 345whp do you know that breaks apart 3rd gear on the dyno. I couldnt even dyno in 3rd cause the car lit up the tires....
Another ms6 memeber who dynoed 386 at 19-20 psi, showed up at 22-23 psi and put down 373whp...he has a gt35 as well
Stock turbo fully bolted ms6 put down 270...

Vids of me spinning on the dyno...
4th gear is rougly 40 to 110....took 4 seconds
Not the greatest quality...
3rd gear...spinning

lil street run to measure the 1/4 mile...

up a lil hill cause highways arnt straight

or you can look at a 3071 thats runnin 23 psi...411whp, big turbos need high boost to make power

Please don't take offense Laloosh. I'm just not impressed. Go turn the boost up and tune it and make near 500whp and I'll retract my statements.
you're missing the point that the turbo he has needs more pressure to be efficient. 17psi on that turbo is nothing. the car is a beast, and i'd bet besides maybe 1 or 2 people it would destroy every car on this site. your comment about the turbo making little power on 17psi just shows that you don't really know what you're talking about in this situation.

lawl. Bigger turbos need more boost to make power , just because the turbos are bigger doesnt mean they gonna make more power on less psi. You guys need to stop using paul and 06black as your example everytime you guys want to prove the cobalt can be fast and talk **** about other peoples cars. out of all the cobalts that are out there only 2 guys making that power, that should tell you something .

Very true. Alot of people don't understand the concept of turbochargers and how they work essentially.

Luckily my best friend has an '06 STI that i'm helping him build so i've had alot of hands on experience with such things.

My 637hp GT35R SRT-4 made 417hp on 17psi. I agree the 35R isn't fully awake but yet it still can pack a punch.

i honestly dont know why ppl talk **** on this site. a vast majority of us can not touch his car without massive amounts of nitrous and blowing up. Yes the 35r seems to be not making much power for that turbo but damn people that car is fast. He was running 12's with minor bolt ons IIRC.

oh come on now... we know what you have in the garage. I wasn't refering to you, just mainly the people that think unless your car has over 400whp then their stage II balt can beat it.
