Im in no way trying to bash you or your car, just making an observation here, but every time someone gets dynoed and posts on this site all the cars dynoed low that day. I think thats strange, maybe every shop in the US and Canada needs to fix their dynoes.

Sorry for the jack there

I'm not talking ****, I'm just saying that I'm not impressed. Isn't that why he posted this thread on our cobalt forums? To show off? Well, I'm not impressed.

spinning tires on the dyno at that power level tells me that someone can't strap **** down right. period.

aside from that, turn that bitch up and let it eat!

I was impressed at the first dyno sheet. I know it can be woken up more, im by that sheet it wasnt impressive to me for the bragging that was done.
Post another with full boost when its over 400whp and ill be more then impressed.

post was not meant to brag, it was meant to show result. All you ss/tc guys dont know what your even in for with this direct inection crap.

As for being strapped down, who knows, it looked to be strapped down tight, the car didnt really lift any. As for the tires, you cant buy better street tires, and no they are not worn. 245 toyo r1r's....not exactly a "****" tire

your dashhawk Ricer ET thing is a liar BTW...A 345whp 3200 lb car isn't going to trap even 120 mph (much less 123). My car won't trap 120 with a fatter powerband, better gearing for the 1/4, lighter car and 345whp

he was trapping @114 or so on the stock turbo, I don't doubt him on that.

A 345whp 3200 lb car will not go through the quarter at 123...especially not with that narrow ass powerband on a 35R with his HP falling like a rock after it peaks

the torque holds strong till redline, the car doesn't fall off at 5500 or whatever like it does stock. did you look at the graph?

did you also read the part where it says that the dyno was done with very low boost? couple clicks of a knob and that 345 goes bye bye.

i'd like to see what it runs, he was running 12's at like 113-114 before the turbo swap.

All I've said is I don't see a 3200 lb car trapping 123 with 345whp...It's not going to happen, I'm not talking about what he could do, I'm talking about the graph he posted. That's a very narrow powerband. Comes on around 5k

my power is falling after peak? im over 340 for over 1k rpm...i have short gearing, i will never fall below 5500 after 2nd gear. Being that im 340 plus from 5400ish to redline, i dont see how your statement holds true. The car went 113 on the stock turbo....with a **** powerband. The car dynoed 327 342 on the stocker at 18psi.

20 more hp? I make a peak of 327 and by redline it was 280, it was over 300 for around 1000 rpm, now by redline i gained 60whp and im over 340 for over 1k rpm....so yea, my 20 peak gain will be close to 120. Lastly a stock ms3 is 3153, my ms3 is ligter. Wheels at 16lbs a piece, stock fly wheel is 40, mine is 11, various other crap that lessened weight ect ect. car is right around 3k

the old dyno

I'm just going to say my car at 2800 lbs and a WIDER powerband (from 3200-6200 rpm) will not go 123 through the quarter with LESS shifting at 345whp...but somehow your heavier car will with grabbing more gears and a shorter powerband will...More power to you

Turbo, dude, it helps. He won't be at 345hp for long. PLus he never claimed that the dashhawk was 100% accurate.

Powerband similar...Your power doesn't even start to come on until like 4.5-5k...and this is on a smaller turbo (AGP 50 trim)

if you can't hit 120 with that car....you need figure out whats wrong with it or go to another dyno that doesnt read happy. Im assuming this is a 50 trim srt4 at like 24-25psi?

Your power band is pretty much from 5-6k...if you fall out of that your losing alot of power.
