there is no real way to learn this fast other than seat time.
Ive found that the most effective launch in these cars stock, (IE no torque damper/mounts etc) is basically to release between 2 and 3.5k revs depending on your surface and tire heat, and basically feather yourself by butt dyno and listening to your rubber, keep the wheels right on the threshold of squeeling up through 3-4k rpm, try and have your traction established and bury your foot so that you can take advantage of the strong pull at 5-6-7k rpm in first. if you do this properly 2nd and 3rd wont be a problem.
one of the BIGGEST mistakes people make, and the reason people burn clutches....is overspinning in first gear and wasting the entire gear on wheelspin, then slamming to second when the car isnt truely going fast enough, then when second gear engages you either bogg the crap out of it, or your clutch laughs at you for being a **** driver and proceeds to burn.
I personally havent done traction mods myself yet. but they are high on my list. alot of people will have great things to say about engine mounts, tranny mounts, and torque dampers. from what ive seen they are performing spendidly on our vehicles, increasing launch rpm, and all but eliminating wheel hop.
In Summary, it will take seat time, but try and get the traction established in first gear quickly so you can punch it and get the most out of the gear.
Feather it to avoid excessive wheelspin and wheelhop.

The prob with feathering the clutch out is that u burn a lot of clutch that way. ive heard that dumping at about 2100 does pretty good, but i get tire spin sometimes and if i go like at 1800 it feels like it bogs out a little

Cut and pasted from another thread similar to this that i just wrote in:

when I launch on the street I bring the car up to 3500 to 4000 and just pop the clutch, where I race at I get so wheel hop and if I time it right I am leaving with boost, The track just pissed me off to much, but anyways at the track I would bring mine up to 2500 and pull the e-break up and let out on the clutch so the car would squat down this takes all the slack out of the drive train it keeps up from breaking **** on a preped track.
