Didn't the 04 not have a stereo at all tho? I can understand the older ones maybe having a shitty stereo, but when they rolled out the newer body style, they should have given it something more modern and better. It still is a 35k car, after all

STI's are in such short supply, I dare you to try and price shop one that isnt a factory order. I think we took $500 off. In the beginning of 2013 it was IMPOSSIBLE to get one, two guys here waited 4-6 months.

Kevin (07MetallicSC's) buddy in CT also waited 6 months

In short supply there is no discounts. Just like Subaru Foresters now, they cant make enough to sell, We get about 10 every two weeks and when the truck comes in there are deposits on at least 5-6 of them and all are sold in less than 4-5 days. People come in trying to get triple net pricing and we just say...NO

Also keeping in mind I work for the smallest 100+ car Subaru dealership in Massachusetts. We sell 108-120 per month with 7 sales guys and only have 6 techs in service. Very small place, great reputation and good customers.

Yeah...I paid 500 below invoice for my 2013 and dealer invoice for all accessories. Also Heuberger Subaru in Colorado will sell them for 1K under invoice and ship it to you. Of course they are the largest suby dealer in the nation. He should have placed a factory order. People are so impatient these days. But I would guess they would be in higher demand way up north in all the snow and it is harder selling for less when you have a small dealership. If I had to do it again though I wouldn't have got the sti. Hopefully the wrx concept subaru showed will come to life as a great car. Then I'll trade mine in for the sti version of it.

Back to the original topic though.
