So recently we've seen the GTR beat from a roll

-125 Shot ZL1
-Tuned ZR1
-Whipple GT500

Yep, those GTRs sure are slow

It's just a tune with E85 that's basically a stock car. I love whenever you chime in, it always brightens my time on CSS.

Oh please, no its not. Its fully bolted and tuned to hit those awhp numbers. That's like a SS/TC fully bolted and tuned on e47 or e85. I sure feel bad for those Boss302, M3, GTR, and ZL1 owners getting spanked by a SS/TC with "just a tune with E85 that's basically a stock car".

And what horsepower numbers do you think the ZL1 and ZR1 would have with "just" an E85 tune?

No the GTR is not fully bolted. That's just an E85 tune with intake and exhaust. There's more work and money in the ZR1 than the GTR. Just imagine a dig race!

That would be quite a race. The GTR would take the Zr1 off the line, for about 2 feet until its glass transmission decided to explode into a million pieces, and the Zr1 just coasts down the track.

just a tune and E85 is basically stock? so the LNF turbo guys that have E85, tune, and exhaust that are putting down nearly 100 more hp than an actual stock LNF, are considered stock still?

both super nice cars. and each costs 100K. dont give me that "oh the gtr only costs 90K".. i can assure you deal mark up is added. just like no one is getting a new GT500 for 54K

Urban legend. You realize GT-R's like that run very low 10's, like 10.2-10.1 on the stock runflat tires. Not gonna get touched on the street by much of anything.

I guess, but a ZR1 with an intake, tune, pulley swap, twin pass heat exchanger, and drag radials will pull off a 9.8xx 1/4 mile. And that's without E85.

Hahaha awesome!

I loved watching the cross hanging from the rearview.
Also loved how the nose of the vette stayed up through the whole pull in one of those.

If you watch VERY carefully on the last run (the 30 roll). Once the vette gets back there a ways you can see it squirming a just a little bit from wheelspin.

Yes, intake, exhaust, and tune is basically a stock car. It's not stock but it's near stock.

Fully bolted would include and is not limited too: Intake, Exhaust, DP, Turbo swap, piping, IC, and tune.

So it needs all that to put down a faster ET than a stock GTR.

All that? That's basically a stock car according to you.

No, a turbo swap is not a bolt on. I can't see the video because I'm at work, but I'm betting that "exhaust" is a catless turbo back. From what I've read as well, GTRs need to change injectors to be able to run e85, and I would imagine even more so if he turned the boost up.
