he ran 15.3 or 15.4 stock.
he also ran 14.4 in his CRX SI with just a 40shot and slicks.

Do some more research, Hondas as well as most imports come highly restricted from the factory, so it is very easy to get 50+whp with bolt ons and increased redline.

I don't need to do any reasearch on Hondas. All my research has been done while kicking the **** out of them up and down the road. I have had many friends with cars from swapped CRX's up to SC Type R's. I know these cars and I know what they can do. There is no one that can add an intake and exhaust to a B18 and make an extra 50WHP, I don't give a **** who they are. We can't even make those gains on a supercharged car with those mods so how in the hell is it going to happen on an N/A 1.8L engine?
Oh and exactly what is restrictive about a 1.8L engine that revs to 8000rpm and makes 200hp STOCK (Type R)???

Correction...
Sorry to correct you guys, but the Type R, from 96-01 (includes the JDM ones), have 197 horsepower and the redline on them is 8400 rpms. Three of my buddies have Type R's and are nuts about them and their history. In Japan, they equate to 200ps. ~ 197hp. (US)
Just by I/H/E you will not pull 50 whp, I pulled 161whp in my 95 GSR, with those. Now, if you introduce tuning and a few other things, then, yes, you can achieve a shitload of power for the vehicle's weight, and whoop the **** out of most things.
Just for your info...

And nobody said with just I/H/E you could gain 50whp, the argument was for just bolt-on to gain 50whp, which is very easily done.

The world may never know. lol
Maybe Florida's Finest, didn't launch as good as he thinks and the guy was completely gutted?

So I am not completely up to date on the exact factory claimed hp of every Honda ever made.

^^^That's what I called BS on. 194 WHP is at LEAST 50WHP more than stock. Maybe you should read the whole post before you start flappin your gums next time.

Only thing I have stated in this thread is a B18 with Intake and Exhaust. That's it.

Actually you said.
How do you know it is 50+whp, maybe he had a factory freak?
and we were talking about i/h/e and vtec controller

Actually even more proof you know nothing... http://www.geocities.com/dynocenter/00R_mmod_stock.jpg
stock they (type Rs) dyno around 160whp
so it easy to assume a GSR with I/H/E will make a lot of power

A Stock GSR is rated around 170 hp. A Stock Type R is around 195 hp. No this is an ESTIMATION Mr. Motortrend so don't work out into a fit here.
195 Crank hp = 160 whp so that works out to about a 20% drivetrain loss.
SO
170 Crank hp = APPROX 140 whp
Now, if we take 194 whp as quoted in a previous post, and subtract the estimated stock whp from that we get 54 whp.
Now do you see where I was coming from?

dude he could have alot done thats not visible from just looking under the hood. he could have had skunk2 cams for instance, ported head, ported intake mani, higher compression, ect. those honda guys are sneaky, gotta watch out.
