Me (RLstg2) vs GTO Mistubishi Twin-Turbo [no vid]
I raced this guy yesterday on a empty strip down the highway, we went from a 45km/h roll in 2nd and i took him by a car up to 140km then we shut down. I must admit though if we woulda kept going his top end would of eaten me up...and really the way we raced is knowingly my best chance to win...

holy **** that is a GOOD deal on that car. that's just a vr-4 to us americans at least. one with that low of mileage for that price should be snatched up REAL quick. those things can make some good power with bolt ons and some SERIOUS power with turbo swaps. nice kill

are those original miles or is it swapped with those miles on the motor? does he have interior shots? i may be interested in buying it actually when im back in michigan during thanksgiving if the interior is in good shape. i need a winter/dd car

ull have to contact him through the site or his #, I met the guy for a breif 5 minutes (Driving beside him , and talked at a red light) ... cool guy im sure he'd hook u up with photos of interior...

I am very aware what a mitsu GTO is, And no there not the fastest car on earth. BUT they would destroy a stage 2 redline
I know its not a Pontiac. Dont get me started on that debate

the early gto/3000gt was good for high 13's. Mid 13's are possible with the best of drivers. sounds very similar to a stage 2 ss/sc to me.

from a roll? what do you think a vr4 with those bolt ons is going to trap exactly? it sure as hell isnt much higher than a stage 2 redline.

According to 3si.org, A STOCK GTO TT trapped 104 with crappy track conditions.

A stock ws6 has trapped 111. if someone asked you what an ls1 f-body trapped would you say 111?
we don't know what this guys boost control was at, how well it was tuned, what condition its in since the car is 16 years old, etc. Generally, the car should be trapping below 110, most likely in the 103-107 range. very possible for a stage 2 lsj to pull on it from a roll.

And you make a good point. We dont know the exact hp of that car.
But i still highly doubt a stage 2 lsj would pull on it, Maybe hang with it somwhat but not pull on it.

Well to put this into perspective, I've raced a stock 1992 3000 GTO, red one. We went from 60km roll, I instantly pulled on him and continued to pull steady on him until I shut down. Had around 4 cars on him.
So this is very idle for happening.
