me vs '10 camaro ss "special edition"
so last night, we had a cruise in since the weather was still 70 degress with the sun down and had about 30 people show up. well this guy rolls in with a brand new special edition synergy green camaro ss. he gets out talks a little while and goes over and checks out my car. one of my buddies is talking to him about it and points at my hahn intake and says thats his downpipe lmao i was like wow ur retarded...so i talk to the camaro guy for a bit dont say much about my car and he said ur buddy said it runs pretty good you wanna run em? i was like sure lets go. my buddy allen jumped in the camaro to see what it had thinking it was gonna be retarded. and on the way to the place we were running em the guy was talking all kinds of **** about how hes gonna walk all over my cobalt and blah blah blah. we did three pulls from a 40 roll, at 120 i was 7 cars ahead each time.
we got back and he goes man that thing is fast....wasnt expecting that at all.
needless to say I have no respect for the camaro ss anymore
fun kill

had the halo headlights, green glowing door panel inserts, aluminum heads and aluminum block, and it was an ss. Nowhere would anyone pay 47,000 for a RS camaro

The "Synergy Green" special eddition is only avalible in the V6.
Starting for 2011 models you can get an SS painted Synergy Green, but its just the paint colour, not a package like the special edition one.
Hope thats cleared up.
So buddy was either A: Lying about it being a "Synergy Green Special Eddition" or B: It he wasn't, but was lying about the V8.

Either way its a good kill.. i mean they pay how much for the v6?? to me the point is.. The cobalt Smokes cars that cost double price most of the time .. either way we should give him thumbs up.. i mean we all drive cobalts why would u hate on them for smokin other cars.. i just dont get it... anyways.. GJ on kill even if it is a V6 or V8... V8 isnt all its cracked up to be... thats my 2cents...

A lot of people just think of the color when they hear "special edition synergy green package." I don't even know what's in that package, and the owner probably doesn't either.

IIRC the "special edition" was for the V6 package and now it's just an upgrade color like SRTC on the Cobalts.

Synergy Special Edition:
Specification-wise, the Synergy Special Edition comes with the otherwise optional Camaro Convenience and Connectivity Package, as well as remote start for automatic transmission versions
Like the show car, the production model gets grey rally stripes that run the length of the car, but it comes with 19-inch silver-painted alloy wheels rather than the 21-inch black wheels previewed on the show car.
Inside, the Camaro Synergy carries over the green scheme with colored trim panels and green stitching on the seats, steering wheel, shift knob and center console.
