They open up nicely with those mods. Stall helps a ton from what I hear.

alright, heres some vids from last night for you guys...
first one is a new camaro ss with intake, full straight pipe, and 6 spd. put up a much better fight then the other ss I ran, real good race.
this one is vs a trans am with a cam...not sure what else is done to his, his spark plug wire popped off during the run.
no idea why my post is so screwed up

Stock Camaro SS's run Low 14's and High 13's here at SIR. I usually out trap them by about 10-15 MPH too. (In my coupe) I can see 7 cars by 120 depending on where you are racing.
And before people get confused, the average DA where I race at is above 4000 ft, actual elevation at 3200.

Either way a new SS is like any car, they arnt that fast stock. Even though alot have gone 12.4 to 12.6s stock, thats not the norm. Stock for stock, it would have the edge on a SS/TC but a tuned TC will easily out run a stock LS3/L99. A tune really wakes autos up btw. With the tune taking out the torque management they gain a crazy amount in the quarter. I remember one early dyno where the torque managment kicked in only put down like 175tq under 4000rpm in first gear. After the TM was taken off it was over 300 at the same rpm.
