this is why i don't street race. I am on my way to becoming a pa state police trooper. I have to be extremely good, do not want to **** up my chances.

Haha i should drive in PA. You would never pull over a fellow balt, especially a black one. But i dont really speed, just the usual 3-5 over if i need to get somewhere.

Hug him? You shoulda given him a BJ, swallowed and asked for seconds! Ok I'm kidding!

But I HOPE you #1 remember this and LEARN from your stupidity! #2 when and IF you become a cop remember the stupid mistake YOU once made and how someone showed pity on you and let you off and police the same way he did. In other words DON'T BE A DICK!

Why did they close down the 1/4?

Dammit...Steele sucked last time I went. They suck at track preparation.

my 1/8mi track sucks out here. The closest 1/4mi is about an hour, so I make a day trip out of it.

They bitch about people street racing, and if you've ever been to Atlanta or a big city you know how the car scene is. 1/8 mile these cars are JUST starting to get good. No fun with 1/8 as there is only a second difference between some of the cars that are really 2-3 seconds apart in the 1/4 run.

They need to open up more tracks.

75/85/285 have plenty of lanes and straight aways so you have people always racing down there. Back when I was stupid I jumped on a few cars going to Nopi and Summit back in 2006. One kid did a fly by then a flipping car flew by me to chase the guy who did a fly by.

Why I don't street race anymore. Even if you and the other driver quit when it gets rough or a lot of traffic you never know about the idiot who does flybys to challenge.

truth about 75, 85 and 285...although 85 merged to 316 = 8 lanes of racing goodness. (we did a 5 way race once)

985 isnt bad until you get past oakwood.

316 mile? I'm not on 85 that much so don't know where all the merges are. However just daily traffic going 75 North from Summit to merge onto 285...blah. I hate how they have the 75 on ramp RIGHT in front of the 285 off ramps. You get these people who do the speed limit blocking the way when traffic is easily 10+ over on average.

316 is a highway. its actually safest to race inside the perimeter. Cops actually have real crime to fight there. Not petty traffic garbage.

I broke down on 285 West side of ATL. Right smack dab in the ghetto. I was to say 3 exits before the Marietta set of exits.

Cop came up was like I already called a tow truck to get you out of here. Had 7 month pregnant ex with me.

Go to the GA thread...got a question.

its mostly the looks that turns people off. Honestly though, not many people know this, the CSRT4 was designed to compete with the HHR SS. In a mopar discussion thread the mopar tech said this straight up. He also said that the NSRT4 is the competitor for the SS/TC, and commented that the CSRT4 is beating out the HHR SS big time.

The fact of the CSRT4 doing so well on the drag amazes me though, especially since it wasnt designed to directly compete with the newest sport compacts. Hell, I ran a 13.9 @ 106.6, that was with a shitty ass 2.3 60' too. 95% of the guys running their SS/TC's dont even break 13's. I run high 13's, low 14's all day long. Not bad for an almost stock car, and tons of wheelspin to boot.
