Me vs GTI

before you start. yes i know street racing is stupid and yes i know roll racing isnt realy racing but he chose it. but just shut up and listen to my story! thank you

so i was driving back from my girlfriends appartment and i was minding my own buisness when this golf (newer looking) pulls up next to me and rev's. i was like where are we going to go? its traffic so he keeps slowing down and punching it to fly by me every chance he can get. i think its quite humorous. then we get on the feeder heading north to the woodlands and he gets beside me and and we slow down until about 25 mph and he honks 3 times. im windows down jammin out to limp bizkit (significant other FTW ) anyways we take off and i had him by 2 cars. he was modded but wouldnt tell me what he had done. i asked him "what do you have done?" he replied with a shoulder shrug so we pull off and start talking and he remembers that he had full bolt ons, loud BOV and something else i have never heard of. he asked me what i had done becuase he suspected it from the way my sc screamed. i told him all i had done was intake and custom plates then he started to dog on the chevy's saying the only reason that people buy the cars are for the stage kits and stuff you can do to them. i was like yup and that there faster than german engineering all in all though he was a cool guy. he said he going to put his chip in and then he wants to have a rematch. FIN

I raced a chipped GTI with an intake header and full exhaust about a week or so ago and took him by like a car and a half. I do drive a stage 1 hhr ss . Have fun with the race and shut him up for talking trash about chevys. Hes just salty for spending all that money on that car lmao

My good friend has a stage 2 GTI with a intake, 3" dp, exhaust and i pull him on the highway. From a dig it would probably be bad but we havent tried it yet.

I raced a Fahrenheit edition GTI (he said it was chipped) when I was on a 2.9 and before the methanol injection, We made 3 or 4 dig races, and up until about 55 or so whoever got the better launch would lead, but after than point the balt would start to pull.

I'd believe it. They maybe turbo'd, but they're still heavier than opra on a bad day.

i laugh at stock gti's with basic bolt on's doesnt matter what year. R32's i can beat from a roll EASILY. did it before 3x and people on here can back that up for you none believers that a stock ss/sc isnt going to beat a R32. but if you go up to a gti with some turbo toys as i would call it boost controller, intercooler and a little tune... he will walk away i think.
