Middletown Cop vs NJ State Trooper
Last night on the way home I was behind two police cars at a light. They were chatting until it turned green, then about 10 seconds after. As soon as they turned onto the road, they lined up, and gunned it.
I think the Middletown cop let off around 50mph, but the State Trooper kept going, and put about 4 car lengths on the other cop when he hit the brakes.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, they were doing exactly the opposite of what they are trying to enforce..but then again, they are cops, they can do whatever they want...
EDIT: Don't know if this is the appropriate forum

50mph is the speed limit on the road we were on. I guess the one cop had no intention of going all out in the race...

eh, some cops are cool about racing some arn't. Met one when I was in VA, sat and watched this kid in a 03 Mustang GT and a NOS kit doing doughnuts in the parking lot, then came over scared the **** out of him, then sat and bullshited with us, looked under the hood, he even did a couple doughnuts in his cruzer. You got to remember alot of cops are guys like us that figured "can't beat 'em, join 'em". Best one was when I got hit on my bike, one of the cops that showed up for the report, asks me if I'd gotten my wheelies down yet. Of course I said no, then he gives me directions to a place outside of town to go practice at. Then he tells me he has a Hiabusa and he does his fare share of illegal stuff.

Last year when I had my 2002 Camaro SS I had one of the most interesting race challenges ever. A 2002 Nebraska State Patrol Camaro B4C (de-badged Z28) pulled up next to me and asked if my SS could take his pursuit model Camaro.
We raced to the legal limit (60mph) then pulled over and bull shitted for a while.
