mustang cobra vs ss/tc
was out driving and ended up racing a mustang cobra from a light. hes mods suppercharger pulley i/h/e and a tune. hung with him through frist and second but in 3rd he started to pull. lost by 2 1/2 cars at the end.

my buddy has one. beats the **** out of me everytime. expect one time at the track he could not get into 2nd i pulled ahead. then he beats me at the end. i hit 9,3 he 8.9 lol

If you stuck with him then it's only because you have more traction than he does.
I love Cobalts but as already stated... pullied Cobras are no joke, he should have yanked hard from the get-go.

the one i was racing was going consistant 12.7Xs and with the new balts becoming quicker and quicker. i wouldn't be surprised if more of these threads started popping up. granted, street conditions and track conditions are WAAAAAY different and the cobra not gonna hook for **** on the street like it will on the track, especially if they're running a radial or slick at the track....you probably could hang on to one untill it hooks.
like me, my car is so different on the track than it is on the street. adjusted tire pressure, weight, launch control, tires...everything is different track vs street

I could see this being true if the dude couldnt drive worth **** but common its a pretty modified cobra i dont know many ppl doing that to there cars and not being able to drive, i do know that u should have lost by more than that maybe he was playing you.....

No I'm calling BS because this guy stayed right next to a pullied and bolt on Cobra, and then only got pulled by 2 1/2 cars. Sorry to say, but once the Cobra got traction, it would immediately pull 4 to 5 cars with ease. What does owning a Ford have to do with anything, I also own an SS/TC aswell. I just know what a Cobra with those mods should do and will do. Give me the , I dont give a ****, you just need to come down to reality there buddy.

Whatever there guy, I'm just stating the truth, regardless of what cars I own. And just so you know, I'll admit that from a roll my SS/TC would beat my GT, but from a dig it's a different story.
