my boss asked me to race.
haha.. my boss asked if i wanted to race him.. he has a 2006 mustang gt.. a bunch of **** done to it and "claims" it goes 1/4 in just under 10 secs... i usually never race but we get done work around 2am so no one is ever on the highway.. i'm goin to check his car out and see what all he has done with it and race him from a 40 roll.. hopefully i wont lose by bus lengths haha.. i'll update this thread when i get home tonight.

he better have a blown stroker or something to run 9's, but i wouldnt bet on beating him either way. He should be able to outrun you from a 40 stock. Bolted he should walk away from you easily. Unless you have a pulley/tune i dont see in your sig...

the s197 stangs will take a stock-ish SS quite easily. they are known to run mid-high 13s stock, 300hp and 300tq. with stage 2 vs stock GT might be a good race.
basically, i think he's got you. most likely not a 9 second machine, but he'll take you.

Unless you've got a pulley and tune of some kind I think he'll get you easily, even stock.
With just Stage 2 I pull dead even with them stock from 40.
I seriously doubt he's got a 9 second car but hey.. never know.

more than likely his ***** nuts and bolts but even so its a fucken v8 no way and i already know its automatic but that wont matter cus when that huge hunk of fiberglass get movin you wont be able to catch him so you best bet is to use you comp modes and jump oout in front as fast as possible without blowing up and given it all you got but he is gonna blow your doors off tho..

Good luck man, I myself have raced several new GT's and have beaten all of them from a roll..2 of them I know for sure were stock auto's..the other was an M6, and had that kick ass duck-tail fin on the back.. got them all from a roll by half a length or so. That's when I was stock w/ airbox mod.

stock s197 = 105-106 trap at best.
100 is an INSANELY slow trap for an s197. they RAPE PI gt's and those are a good race for stock ss's.

But anyway, I highly doubt its a 9 sec car if its his DD. But even with that being said i would say he will walk you like your not even moving.

well i know for a fact it doesnt run 9s.. he had to stay later then i did last night so we didnt get to race.. he said hes supercharging it sometime this winter though.. so it in the future he might bein 9s but for now i think i might have a chance when i get my 60lb injectors, smaller pulley and a tune
