dunno about that. Stock camaro SS's can run low 13's all day long.
the 5.7l in those is kinda crappy. Its also a very heavy car compared to the camaro. If ur gonna get a GTO, go with the 6.0l

On street tires and stock everything, including the factory paper filter! (only 11,500 miles on the clock), I ran a 13.4 at 106. With a flo-pac I ran a 13.2 at 107.5, and it will run the exact same time back to back as many times as you want to get duplicate time slips. LOL

Thanks! I've really been enjoying the rear-wheel drive. I always told all my friends when I was still driving the cobalt that if it were rear-wheel drive it would be the perfect car. Power, MPG, and good launches.

Did the camaro miss a gear or have a bad run? or did you just have bad runs on the prior runs.

well its my first stick... idk. we have raced at the track (have seen 13.8 with a TC). but never from a dig or 40mph roll.
his best was a 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. mine was 14.54, and yours is 13.2, lol.

TC held its own well, but you got pulled pretty much everywhere (kind of bad when he is in his powerband). That last race though started in a dead spot for him (to high for first and low for second), hence the reason you two were about next to each other for two gears. His car looks wicked at night and sounds sinister!
BTW Ralli, you aren't murdering a LS1 goat trapping 104.....

Nice runs. So do you think the SS/TC could outrun a stock Camaro SS?
Personally, I'd be mad if I was the camaro driver. If that was my Camaro SS and a 4 cylinder hung with it like that I dunno if I could live with myself. Glad to see the new SS can hang with that kinda car...

Depends on the LS1. The LS1 Vette FRC(fixed roof coupe) 6-speed is capable of low 13's/high12's at 110+ stock. They're definitely the fastest of all the LS1's. Also I don't see a tuned TC outrunning a well driven LS1 from a stop without struggling for a good bit.
