I concur, you can vitara build a z6 and they have the capability to net over 400whp. Not to mention that they are cheaper to build and maintain that the dohc vtec engines; nothing wrong with those engines but if you want cheap power then you want sohc and turbo. My brother has a b16a swapped ef hatch that I would like to boost.

yeah. you need to give props where they are due. for that dinky motor to keep up with a tuned ss/tc making those numbers; thats pretty damn impressive and it doesnt look ricer or anything either. good race all around.

I just find it ridiculous that sport compact owners hate on each other so much. most of these cars are pretty damn crappy. They all have their high and low points.

Does he have the d16z6 or the d15b7? Either way he is still only pushing like 180whp with 9psi depending on supporting mods. I would like to see this video. I used to have a hatch with the b7 in it that I had planted a 14b onto and boosted 10psi. Sadly it was untuned but it still went decently. It was written off before I had a chance to take it down the strip but with a good launch I would've net low 14's at 10psi.
Edit: Tell your buddy if he has the z6 under his hood with good compression and still healthy to push to around 225whp or like 11ish psi. Make sure to tune it well then. No room for error, the z6 has a stronger bottom end than the b7. Stronger rods ftw.

I'm not dissing any cars here. I was actually was going to build an LSV for myself. An LS is only meant to be spun to 7,000 Rpm. Whereas when you swap the vtec head on you need it to be spun to 8,000+ I am just going to quit replying to this thread because it seems like you all think I am the newb and don't know **** all.
