guy at work was talking about how fast his truck was and that he could stomp anyone in the parking lot. one of the guys there who had been in my car told him about my balt. next thing you know i come walking back in and the whole shop is talking **** about how he was going to smoke me and blah blah blah. So we left work and drove to mexico and set up shop and to be fair i let him do the three honks from a dig.

Just wondering because it sounded really quiet when he went past the camera so I assume he let off. He was probably embarrassed that he had so much work done and still lost. Thing probably made good power but with such low gears and the weight he wouldn't really stand a chance

Not suprised. Diesels aren't fast unless they have tons of $$$ into them. We're talking like $25,000 or more money. I've ran 2 of the most powerful diesels in my town, one is a Cummins with a big turbo that dyno'ed like 696rwhp/960tq, another is a Duramax with twins that made over 700rwhp and something like 1200tq. Both lost. Neither would dig race either for fear of breaking stuff.

seems like most of those guys will dump tons of money into their motors but cheap out when it comes to the drivetrain. Poor philosophy imo. Better to beef up the drivetrain and motor first before pushing it that hard, that way when you do make all that power, you can do whatever you want with it.
