not so much a war story, but a story nonetheless

sooooo, i had a few things wrong with my car, i was getting them taken car of, things like a small exhaust leak, new clutch, a little tuning here n there, which took a WEEK, i FINALLY got my car back, and on my way home from the mechanic, im at a flashing red light, stopped, and my car display reads "engine power lowered" i said to my self, wtf..immidiately after it reads "engine disabled"..and now im thinking "wtf is this some Eagle Eye ****.. and so the car shuts down..at this point i have cars behind me going nuts, i get out and signal that i broke down, i call my mechanic to come over and help me about, as i hang up i start smelling burning, i get out of the car and it starts filling with smoke, i get a safe distance away incase the ****** thing blows up, after my mecanic gets there, checked the engine, nothing, open the trunk, and theres a nice little fire back there burning the carpet, wiring, boxes and everything lol, turns out my huge 2.5 ton jack in my trunk (fail) shorted out the battery which was exposed somewhat, and cause everything to catch fire..nice right?

hered a vid, its on facebook cause idk how to post it on youtube..:

haha no...i had a lot of stereo equipment at the time and a faulty fuse. instead of the fuse burning and separating, it melted together starting a small fire.
