Thumbs up oh god... 08 si vs me

ok for many of you guys who seen my previous post's and haters... i did something a little different tonight and ran my boy kev again in his si... i beat him twice, he said he gave me his best... my friend dan who was watching in his gtp stated i won by a car from the looks of it. both runs he got me off the line due to lack of tread on the tires and yea thats it. his mods are:
BCRH, mugen cat-back w/ test pipe... i BELIEVE its mugen i could be wrong. and drop in K&N oem air filter

my mods are zzp s2 with messed up rev limit of 6500...

we dont know what he runs with the cat-back yet, first time at the track with his set up. welds broke on the cat-back he said f it, removed it and ran a 14.2 with just bcrh and dp... name another si that can do that with no exhaust... he does run better with the full exhaust back on lol... thats for sure obviously. i havent been to the track yet. we are guessing he runs a 13.9 or 8 at best... so that puts me somewhere along those lines... but for you guys complaining... happy? i beat em finally. but lol i'm gonna keep saying show me a 4door si with same set up with NO cat-back running a 14.2... this guy can drive his ASS off and thats the truth

noo you still faill..

at the track you will run better no catback.. that helps for high end.. and since that motor revs high that will definitely help.. there's a reason people run cut outs at the track

get your friends si with a BC race header 800$, and a nice cat-back... and tell him to launch at 3k and no lift shift/powershift... tell him just let go of the clutch and hold the gas down it will only spin for 3-4 seconds and catch traction on its own because of lack of tq. and wont kick in until much higher rpm... and no k20 will NOT run better with running just a dp lol wtf... cut out's arent even located at the d/p unless boosted if ANYTHING

Catbacks don't actually do very much for Si's (or RSX-S). The header does though.

That is pretty sad that you claim to be the "FASTEST" and you only have the ZZP2...

But nice kill.

well the guy knows his car inside and out like nobody else, i'm taking his word for it over anyones, that with the cat-back gives him better results than without. he drives it and yea just knows his car like the back of his hand

its pretty sad that i beat people with your set up, minus the DR's

not trying to be a dick. its the truth

That is sad, if you beat me with your mod I would cry myself all the way to the brick wall I smash into.

No trying to be a dick. its the truth.

But I am glad you beat an si, I hate those cars.

There are some decesent drag strips in PA. You dont need to go to new jersey to find out your car is slow!

how do you know you beat people with his setup? and obviously you are beating the driver not the car, cause his car properly driven would handle your car no problem.

and you east coast guys need to come to AZ or somewhere with a DA above 100 haha.

on a cold night out here the DA is still typically 2000. . . on a hot day. . . it can reach as high as 4000, that will make your high 13 car a high 14 car. altitude and crappy weather will kill your times.

East coast guys are even lucky sometimes and get Negative DA's. . . if i were to bring my car to the east coast and run in some negative DA's i'd be damn near low 12's. DA makes a world of difference if you know anything about racing.

i respect nice cars, but i have yet to see a nice CRX ever. . . and i have been to plenty of cars shows. . . everytime someone see's one and thinks its nice its either just got an over exaggerated body kit and no motor work, or its primer gray with a motor in it thats worth more than the car.
