get your friends si with a BC race header 800$, and a nice cat-back... and tell him to launch at 3k and no lift shift/powershift... tell him just let go of the clutch and hold the gas down it will only spin for 3-4 seconds and catch traction on its own because of lack of tq. and wont kick in until much higher rpm... and no k20 will NOT run better with running just a dp lol wtf... cut out's arent even located at the d/p unless boosted if ANYTHING

oh i can beat him on a roll any speed. but thats just the cars doing the racing if u think about it... were both dig guys mainly... even still if i beat the driver... why are you guys hating lol... some of you guys boggle my mind. ever think all the si's u guys raced with i/h/e with the k20's... ummmm u beat the driver? for a naturally aspirated motor. those ******* can move with the right driver... hence my friend kev... the right driver. lol on a different note a 08si with i/h/e and hondata or kpro can beat a gm s2 easily from a dig. the way there gears are set up are PERFECT for 1/4 miles its not even funny. ever drive an si? and launch it correct and NLS each gear... chirping 3rd all day. my balt doesnt chirp 3rd and i have alot more tq... double you Tea Eff yo!

He must be the only cobalt in philadelphia !!!! My frineds RSX-s with an intake and catback exhaust could'nt beat my cobalt with just an intake. Now The RSX-s has the two items above with hondata, cams and supporting valvetrain and my cobalt with the exhaust now the RSX only pulls a car and a half away from me. When i get stage two it should be a close race.

okay theres gotta be something really wrong with the new SI's here cause I beat 3 of em at the track and barely got beat by one that was fully bolted and tuned.Either that or my car runs freakishly fast for the mods I have done.you be the judge

SI that runs slower than 15.4... stock they run 14.8, one thats fully bolted and tuned should run at least a 14 flat if not 13.7 with a good driver

My buddy that has the 08 si with an intake raced a Speed3 and was at his back bumper the whole race through. They went from a 20, 40 and 60 roll and the guy in the speed was kind of shocked.. He has the video so when i see him ill post it up. Those civics can definately move with the right driver

yo seriously i love my cobalt to death i love all american cars except for the escort haha but si's can run there ass off with the correct driver. and i'm speaking for the 8th gen si's the one from like late 90's and that weird bubble one from early 2000's... i believe they had the b16's or 18's. those were junk... these new si's however with the right driver. its unbelievable. stop watching motor trend lol.

i can't stand these posts of mr. fastest in philly vs. this dude in an 08 si !!! i only read them to see the funny remarks the other members on here leave about him. if you are having that much trouble with an Si .... you cant drive !!!! true some can be fast, but most Stage 2 balts have no problem with them. there is something wrong with your car/tune .... or you as a driver. P.S. less torque = easier car to launch from a dig ....
