just a K&N typhoon. but yeah c4's aren't slow, but they're not the hardest thing to beat either. took out a c5 convertible about a year ago. he had the top down and i'm sure he had the auto. i'm a huge vette fan though, so it makes me feel good to take one out every now and then, regardless of the circumstances. just as long as the driver is decent and actually trying.

bingo. it actually held pretty good too. i don't know who owns it, but i want to say it was probably modded b/c it kept with me better than the c5 did. the c5 and i went from a 70 roll and i had my rear bumper facing it's front by about 90mph.

that's why i'm guessing mods b/c it was keeping decent even at 120-130 range. according to 0-60times.com a 1990 corvette launches to 60 in 5.7 from a dig, so on a nearly stock ss/sc, it would be pretty close.

my friend's uncle has a '96 lt4 vette and so my friend texted me and was like "hey come race me i'm gonna beat you so bad, i got my uncles corvette" so i didn't tell him that it was a slow, heavy piece of ass and whooped up on him

what mph did oyu guys race form? was it auto and stock? cause those are lighter than my car and stock my car ran a 14.00 with like a 2500 ft DA. and the LT4 was rated a few ponies higher than my LT1.

yea true, i didnt realize those vettes were that heavy all other year vettes are lighter than the F-bodies. . .

All LT4's were offered in manual only. The 96 C4 offered both the LT4 and LT1. LT1 was auto only and LT4 was manual only. Then there's ofcouse the grand sport's.

Also the LT4 was rated at 330hp but puts out alittle more then a stock LS1 does. This LT4 is only tuned but you get the idea.

1996 LT4 : 3298lbs
