how is not knowing about that single fact lack of automotive knowledge? that's like a surgeon not knowing how to preform dental surgeory... he's still a surgeon. So because I didn't know ALL 08-09 SSs were TC I have an overall lack of automotive knowledge? Great premise to an even greater conclusion!

Seeing as a Porsche Cayenne is capable of a mid-high 13 second 1/4 mile...and the Cobalt SS, with a good driver can do 13.8s...
What more proof do you want? Is this story that improbable or are you just stupid?

If doesnt matter to you, why do you keep talking? He shared his experience, you dont have to like or believe it...just drop it...why keep talking, its not like he said he raced a Z06 or something. Its a mid 13sec suv vs a high 13 sec car...who cares...

I'm just doing my usual thang letting some of the idiots here (not you) know that just because one person beat _____ doesn't mean that is going to be the norm. a while back, somebody hung with a termin thru third gear in a bolt on ss/sc. termi had bolt ons. bolt on termi = 11 sec car. bolt on cobalt = MAYBE 12's. most likely 13's. doesn't mean it didn't happen, just means the cobalt driver got REAL luckym

Seriously...sure..in quarter-mile a half second is quite abit, but it only takes one f-up to take care of that. Its not like the story is unbelievable. Hell, I've seen a ton of sti's and evo's at our track put down 15sec quarters...its amazing how many people really cant drive, standard or automatic!

i've seen 102...103 at most...where have you seen 105? 105 might be possible in mine shaft conditions, but in a similar situation a turbo could probably trap 109. All im saying is you raced a car that can pull out of the hole better than you in every way from a dig and realistically he should take you from a roll. I'm just saying don't expect those kind of results all the time.
P.S. I'm telling the town of Cayuga, Ontario that you called it a mine shaft. Snnnnap!
