props to your wins. as for beating him by 6 cars and such, looked a lot closer to me, but then again, the camera man definitely wasn't employed by fox or anything. lol. get the camera man inside one of the cars racing next time.

see this story is actually very plausable because the 99 cobra was not nearly as fast as the terminators or even some of the previous model cobras. it had alot of problems and i beleived this even before i watched the video. the only reason you see mustang guys come on here and call bs is because you have ls owners claiming to walk 5.0's and i remember one guy a while back claiming he owned a terminator from a dig in a stock ss/sc. ha. good kill ts.

I know EXACTLY how frustrating it is when people always want to underestimate and bash your car... I have a V6 Mustang. I've heard Toyota Echo's talking trash about V6 Mustangs... but anyway, that's another topic.... but yeah, I was defending the cobalt and explaining why it was a reasonable video, not making excuses, but I see how you could be confused. You don't see the abbreviation "Vert" around a Cobalt forum much.

Not a bad kill, but those 4-6 car lengthes looked to be more about 1 to even 1/2 a car length at best.
Didn't the 99 Cobras have some technical issues, and even motors re-called because they didn't make their supposed horsepower? Or something to that extent.

Not sure but anyone in a stock SS/SC claiming to get in front of a 03 or 04 cobra needs to get beat with a shovel! 
I have raced the 03's and 04's in my Camaro SS and a SS/SC cobalt is not in their class...not stock...not modded. Thats funny...no wonder why we **** the mustang guys off haha
But the GT's...they are nothing special...the mustang guys are oblivious to that fact however...they swear they are the fastest thing to a viper hahaha

I hate videos from behind like that. He says he beat him by 6 cars, but from back there they look pretty even to me. IMO it would have been a lot more convincing if the video was from one of the cars racing.
Either that or the Civic Si needs to get blown or turboed with about 20psi so he can also keep up and vid the race haha. You can deff. see the Cobra lost.
