thats intresting. my buddy with an 04 Gt hit 12.7 with the same mods plus 4.10s, full cai, ported plenum, throttle body, bassani x pipe and slp mufflers. on the 75 shot he hit 12.2 i believe. like i said our track is good for quick times. his brother in a mach 1 had 4.10s, x pipe, cat back, shifter and a 50 shot and hit a 11.8. still had stock filter and everything

SN97? 94-04 is SN95 (99-04 is considered the New Edge SN95) 05 + is the S197.

I think he was mistaken the S197 for an SN97.

Even if he could not get it out of the hole, the MPH should be a lot better. That is a good indicator of horsepower. I always think its funny to hear people say what they "should" run but when they bust through the 1320 its just a big ol' disapointment.

The only Mustang I saw run that impressed me was 03 or 04 body style Cobra. I ran against him in my truck and with just an exhaust, cai, tune, and drag radials he was in the 12.5-12.6's. I was expecting to beat him until I was watching his tail lights after the 1/8th.

There were many turbo and nitrous mustangs I have watched but you expect fast times out of them.

To me roll races are lame, for one because you dont roll race at the track, and street racing isnt the smartest thing in the world. So unless you go to one of the few tracks in the U.S that lets you roll race, they are lame.

There are more than just the 03/04 Cobras that are decently fast stock, just because you never see them, doesnt mean they dont exist. What kind of truck do you have to think you were gonna whoop a Terminators ass?

There are alot of quick Mustangs. 03-04 Mach's run LOW 13's with a good driver. A lot of 03-04 Cobras run better times than you listed stock. Even though it seems like a S197 never wins in here they are a mid 13(almost low) sec car stock well driven. All the S/C Saleen/ Roush models,Hmm even New Edges have hit 13.7 stock in the "slow" 2V.. Etc (there is a decent amount more).

I also want to know what truck you have that you think you could take a termi in..

What did the car trap? You never see it in the vid.

If the guy couldn't drive and hit the gears then the trap is going to be low too. I know people that can't hit the gears at WOT to save their life.

I have personally seen a stg3 which is basically the same setup as the 427R run 12.8@108. Its not head spinning impressive but its not exactly a dog.

From what I could see it was 101.60 the board was a little fuzzy and when I load videos they go to hell when Youtube reformats them. Dont get me wrong here, I like all performance cars. I am not trying to dog anyones ride here. I think its a nice car and I like the way Mustangs look inside. I hate how plain the Cobalt is inside. I would stand around with anyone and drink beer and talk about our ****

in what a 7k pound turbodiesel? You'd still probably be around the 03-04 cobra stock.

I didnt come on here and say my truck was all that was bad ass but I will explain to you how it goes down 99% of the time. On 35" mud tires I can cut 1.8 60's all day and usually 7.8x-7.9x 1/8 times. Yeah, its a huge barn door and has 0% aerodynamics. Even with hitting the rev limiter at the 1k mark I can still hit 106-107's

How many Mustangs in daily driver form do you know of that cut 1.8's? They need slicks. How many drivers that you know of hate loosing to a behemoth redneck truck? All. Emotions take over and they smash the gas... worst mistake and I capitalize on that

You are also tuned, which helps out alot against S197 Stangs.

I'm sure all of those races are from a roll aswell. I can see you beating the 02 GT and 5.0 with ease from a roll.

Yeah the 99 Cobras had problems and didnt run as strong as the 01's, especially if they didnt do the recall.

106-107 trap speed? in the 1/4? I'll assume 1/4 since there is no 1,000 foot in an 1/8th...unless you're talking about a thousand foot track.

Yes, in the 1/4. I was saying my engine revs to 3500rpm and it hits 3500 at around the 1k foot mark in the big gear. You have to remember, this thing is geared to pull houses, not go 150mph. I just got some new valve springs, push rods and a better tune to allow 4k. I am patiently waiting until Spring to see what it does. I also added a .051 shot to the mix... I hope the clutch holds.

nice. I wouldn't talk down about mustangs with a 106-107 trap speed tho. fast for a truck, but a stock 03+ cobra will pull you hard any time after the 1/8th mile and a bolt on mach 1 will do the same.

Nah, just the 03/04's, unless it was an aftermarket S/C. And the GT500's.
