Umm, what is your other ride? Because GT500 Super Snakes have upwards of 700hp stock.
If you dont think mid to low 12's are fast for a stock car, than you must own some REALLY fast cars.

my car is faster than mid to low 12's yes...but I don't consider my car fast either. A stock C6 Z is fast...125+ mph car out the box (I've personally seen them trap up to 127 mph stock)

So you have an SRT-4, it's a nice car that you can mod the hell out of, my younger Brother has an 05. 3k into the car for 11's is nice, but you can do that with alot of cars. Just a pulley and tune on a GT500 and you have a low 11 to high 10 second car. I dont wanna get into comparing cars, but to say a GT500 isnt fast, is absurd.

The GT500 has the dyno...it dynoed 600+. That Z is about 500+ whp but weighs a good 1000 lbs less....that race played out how it should
Look at the price difference between MY car and the GT500 lmao, since you want to use that argument with the Z
I noticed on the local forum all the Stang guys were butthurt about the race with the Z, when the Shelby posted the chart from a reputable dyno....everyone stfu

I dont wanna use the price difference, because any car can be fast with the right amount of money. Hell I could go buy a 3k 87-93 fox body Mustang, drop in no more than 5k and run 10's with ease, so that is a 10 second car for 8k or less. I hate the money argument, but a 30k difference in 2 cars is alot, especially when for just about 3 to 4 more k you can have yourself a 10 second GT500 and beat C6 Z's with ease.

How often has a damn stock C6 Z ran in the 10's, not very freaking often. I know stock for stock the Z would beat a GT500, but throw a few grand into a GT500 and you're beating the Z all the time, and still saving yourself 25k.

One, look at the huge difference in stock tires. And again, if I wanted to spend upwards of 70k on a car, it wouldnt be the Z, you can have so many nicer, faster cars alot cheaper. Yeah for a stock car, the Z is awesome, but there is better and there is faster, cheaper.

Sorry but the GT500 will pull just about anything, hell my terminator cobra will pull a z car with no problem. They are quick cars, especially at mid and top end.

I know that and I know the C6 Z is a badass car, but to say the GT500 sucks and is slow is what got this little discussion started. Now if you would have said the GT500 wasnt as fast as the C6 Z I would have agreed, but that isnt what was stated.

One, there is a huge difference in a C6 and C6 Z06. And secondly, you better have alot of mods done to your Terminator to even pull a C6 hard.
