I remember when we were in my buddy's 03 Cobra. It ran pretty good (11.2@124) and he got up on it and as we went over the hill we pass a LEO. He hits the cherries, my buddy grabs 4th and we never saw cop.

Another time I was in a buddy's L it was a whipple and ran in the 10s. It was prolly the loudest blower I had heard. He got up on it with the whipple screaming and we see a cop walking towards his car. The cops head turned so fast, he prolly didn't know what the hell he was hearing. HAHA

thats is awesome! I have blown past a cop on the freeway at 160 in my coupe it was the dps one so no speed limiter, he clocks me hits his lights and turns them off. Another time, I was running 100 in a 35 past a kennedale cop he trys to turn around I hit my street with the lights off and sat in my drive way and saw the cop fly by on the other street with lights on. It was awesome!

Dude I had a LEO follow me 15miles way out of jurisdiction. After a bit I got tired of him and just kicked it down knowing there was nothing he could do. LOL

Most cops here are guys that have nothing better to do and are just looking to get anybody. This one cop has been trying to get me for 2 years now. He follows me all the time during the summer. I always give him a wave and it pisses him off.

You will always have cars with advantages and disadvantages and I suppose the "Old" School racers think Bracket racing is O K too .. LOL wtf ever ..


And suspension is fine if you have the proper wheel base and the car is evenly distributed.. - Whats good suspension if your ******* car is top heavy and the wheel base isn't proportional?

YOU were the one talking **** about a car and how much better your car is. YOU then call some one out for a race and then say it has to be from a roll or I'll LOSE. HAHA If thats how you pick your races you need to stick to racing Honda civics so you'll never lose.

What you need to realize is most people that race from a dig are people that race at a track and that is better than roll racing. Its not an opinion, its a fact. Thats why there is no national competions for roll racing.

You also make fun of bracket racing which makes racing equal yet thats your excuse why racing from a roll is more fair. LOL You fail at life.

Actually if you did something in his jurisdiction, he could pull you over and either detain you til the local Cops got there, or if it was something major, he could detain and escort you back to his local PD.

We actually give some slack on our main roads in our City. A couple of the main roads the speed limit is 45 and 55mph, we usually give a leave way of 12mph on the 45mph road and 10mph on the 55mph road. Hell there was a survey done a couple years ago and the average speed limit on the 45mph road was 56mph. Speeding is what it is, speeding, but when the speed limit should be more and it isnt, well we usually wont pull you over unless you're doing 15-20mph over or more.

Do you mean out of his jurisdiction? I know if I did something in his jurisdiction he could pull me over.

All I know is he was a city cop and he followed me through three different cities/towns.

Mind you I have never been pulled over and wasn't speeding or driving erratically. It just pissed me off he followed me that far and I knew he wasn't supposed to. The guy had serious problems.

He ended up getting fired for setting up cameras in his ex's house and like hacking into her computer from the police station. LOL

He sounds like a jackass who should have gotten fired. Technically he is only supposed to follow you if you did something, but usually it has to be something significant, usually a felony charge.

You know what year it was? The non S/C'ed 99 and 01 Cobras were good for mid 13's stock with a good driver, usually were high 13 second cars.

i have no idea it was just some guy at a light that was annoying lol. but it would have been from a roll. and they weigh like 3300lbs and only have 320hp i think? so from a roll hes not gonna do very well. cuz i have already beat a cobra non s/c'd with cat-back atleast from a 40roll by 2 cars

Most definately from a roll he would have lost. They arent heavy, but they arent light. They make good power out of that DOHC 32v v8, especially the 01's.

Anyways, if there is an argument on what car is superior, why don't you just settle it with some track times from a track that has curves and straights.... Well like the Nürburgring (Nordschleife)... fancy that, I don't see any mustangs on there.

To each is own though. Mustangs are great for drag racing, if that's all you do get a mustang. Cobalt SS/TC's are great for road courses. If that's what you do get one. On the street most people race from a roll, if that's what you do, get a Supra....

Seriosly though if it was that simple the internet war stories sections would all but die. It wasn't that long ago that everyone used to go to the track and run there cars. Now everyone just sits here and talks about it. Oh well most times the track is a sad plae for alot of people because it breaks there heart.

During just about all of my 1/4 tapes you can hear someone in the backround say "_______ are supposed to run _____" or "he said it should run ____" either statement is usually followed by a "what the ****" 15 seconds later.
