Raced a Mustang GT :)

My first victory against a V8 mustang came tonight. '99-04 GT coupe. From a 10mph roll, probably pulled 1.5-2 cars by 50mph. GO 2.2 GO!

LOL, maybe the pre 99 ones, but aint no v6 Accord gonna beat a 99-04 GT or definately 05+ GT. The 94-98 GT's made 205 to 225hp stock, which is way below what a stock Accord makes nowadays, so yeah the Accord should win and will.

They are also rated correctly and that is BHP. 94-98 deff doesn't have power on it's side.

No it doesnt, that is why I never understood why someone would want a 96-98 GT with the 4.6. I could see getting a 94 or 95 with the 5.0 because a simple head and cam swap with exhaust and you would dramatically up the power, just not gonna happen out of a non-pi 4.6 GT.

Before you laugh to hard maybe you should see what people are getting out of the new Accord V6 Coupe. The one laughing should be the Accord owner when they pull on a 99-04 GT.

So new Accords are running high 13's to low 14's stock?

Yep, usually after a 96-98 GT does an expensive PI swap it's still usually around ~230whp.

I'd say mid 14s and maybe low 14s if you're a good driver.

It's going to have to do better than that to hang with a New Edge.

yeah thats a lil better but lets face it the 94-98was the worst of the worst they were heavy as **** and slow, i had a 93 5.0 and i loved that thing, but the 94 body style was like 200lbs heavier, they look nice sometimes tho imo lol got one thing goin for them, nice kill tho

You act like they are fast, once you remove internet fantasy runs from the 99-04 GT they are mid 14's low 14's at best on average. People who call them high 13 second cars would say otherwise if you requested they put money on it. Sure a few have gone high 13's but 1 out of 100 runs isn't average.

it's gonna happen with the 370z too. They may be able to dip into 12's stock depending on the gearing. Could be very bad for the camaro and mustang.
