2.4's dyno like 140whp dont they...? depending upon dyno of ciourse. Kid, just give up... you dont have 180whp stock...MAYBE 180bhp if you have a factory FREAK, but even thats cutting it.

dyno sheet. Unless you pulled the motor and dynod at the crank you got numbers that are way inflated. It is physically impossible for a stock 2.4 to put down 180fwhp on even a remotely well calibrated dyno.

ok so what's on this magical custom made 2.4 that makes it put down 180whp?

stock means not modified. It has nothing to do with how much money you have to spend on mods...

Why do you keep quoting yourself? It's like you have 2 different personalities, LOL. Yes it does have 173bhp, not to the wheels, they dyno to the wheels around 140-145hp. There was no custom built 2.4 from the damn factory, give it up already.

That is correct.

An HKS "chip"? HKS doesn't make a single specific item for any trim Cobalt.

1. that's 173 crank horsepower. You wouldn't dyno near that.

2. You are not a "real" car guy.

3. What the hell did you even just say?

Why don't you explain it to everyone then instead of dancing around it acting like there's some big secret. You are lying, end of story.

what, you mean the stock specs listed in bolt print under the forums subject?
2.4L LE5 Performance Tech (2 Viewing)
16 valve 171 hp EcoTec with 163 lb-ft of torque
those stock specs? I have read it actually....it states how the stock 2.4l LE5 ecotec motor has 171hp. This would of course be the motor itself having this power. After drivetrain losses, it probably puts out 140whp or so in our specific application with the F23, and slightly less using the 4T45e auto trans.

I know my stuff better than you ever will, and don't even try and talk about me being upset about you having "money". I guarantee you will never reach the same wealth that I have had the privilege of growing up with in your entire life. Oh, and FYI. I have more horsepower than you anyway...

EDIT: im not in the mood to deal with retards like this today..

Even if you have grown up with wealth in your family, please dont try and post that information on the internet, nobody cares and it shows your true age. If you do have money because your parents are wealthy, try and keep it to yourself, and second I hope you still go out and try to get a real job and care for yourself instead of letting your parents take care of you.

Naw man it's all good, that guy who you said all that to is a ******* and dont seem to know anything. I just figured I would call you out about it now before someone else became an ass about it. It's cool if you got money, there are some people that dont, just didnt want you to put that info out and others think you were a spoiled little brat or something. I know how it is though, my younger Brother has an SRT-4, an 05 with quite a few mods now and I'm sure people think since he is only 19 our parents bought it and stuff, but that is all wrong, he actually works 2 jobs, and 7 days a week.
