raced a mustang and modded camaro ss
Whats up guys, me and my friends decided to have a little fun tongiht so we did a couple races and recorded them... i raced my friend in a stock 02 mustang gt, and my other friend in a 2001 Camaro SS with ram intake(something like that the slp lid or something) and catback exhaust...my mods are in sig and garage...it was a fun night, beat the mustang pretty bad and the camaro he had a bumper on me when we started a couple times but each race i ended up being at his doors or so, overall i was pretty happy...enjoyy

What is that supposed to mean, doesn't common sense tell anyone that a LS1 with a lid is a solid 290whp car.
I had 2 Camaro SS's a 2000 M6 and a 2002 A4. The 2000 had OE SLP/Blackwing lid and Filter, OE SLP Cat-Back, SLP Y-Pipe and OE SLP/Bilstein suspension and BFG G-Force KDWS tires. The 2002 had the same airbox and filter combo, SLP Int. pipe and muffler and rode on BFG G-Force KDW tires.
The 2000 ran a best time of 12.98 @ 108mph and with borrowed drag radials it went 12.75 at around the same mph.
My Stage 2 alone SS/SC went 13.7 @ 104.
Point being a Stage 2 SS/SC isn't keeping up with a LS1 F-Body with power it kept up because of luck that you ran into a terrible driver.

Why, because some people would rather live in the real world? Where that race would end with the Cobalt being Thrashed. Do you know how many 17-21 yr old Cobalt owners are gonna run around talking about how a just s2 Cobalt can run an SS Camaro? Egos will be inflated 10 fold and blasphemy is going to be spread nationwide, just because of this video.

my buddys 2000 ss runs a 13.8@101 consistanly its bone stock but i know any stage2 cobalt can beat that from a roll. a dig might be a different story. mybe the camaro has 100,000 miles on it with a tranny thats takin a crap just b/c its a ss camaro doesnt mean its runnin mid 13's theres always factors you have to think about

this is what a real race of a stage 2 vs any kind of ls1 vehicle would look like , all you guys need to quit kidding yourselves , ill get some real footage for you i know tons of cobalts

lol that race u just posted was from a dig...obv mine wasnt, thats why the results are different, i dont get what the controversy is really...i raced my friend from a 40 roll and thats what happened, three times in a row...lol i didnt stage it or anything and im not saying from a dig the same results would happen....jeez
