never ASSume... check on their forums.. Autos are trapping 112-115.. stock.. quickest stock C6 is on LS1tech, I ran him once at Atco, beat him to...too bad he forgot to take it out of 2nd when he staged after the burnout!! he still went 13.4@110 starting out in 2nd.. his car has gone 12.3 I believe.. another guy at E-Town over the summer, a Red C6 with chrome factory wheels was running 114 and 12.6 all day long in 75-80* weather..

when you're 2wd AND HAVE 400ft tq and the trans short shifts at WOT? yeah actually it is. I've picked up .2+ by altering my launch and shift points. when you learn to get your car to run 1.6 60's on street tires, come talk to me..
go do some resaarch and see how many guys couldn't break into the 13's stock with their SS's... it's just pretty funny how every Magazine list the truck as a 14.2-14.3 @98 or so and my first ever run was a 13.55 @102 and an AWD went 13.9 @100.. goes to show you NOT to believe what they write about, go out and run your own car, guessing does nothing, or going by other's times... you need your own to know what the deal is..

This is the same reason people swear up and down that a auto LS2 GTO will run faster times than the M6. It takes practice to hook up with a LS2.

I cut a 2.09 60ft during my 13.7 run when I had Stage 2 alone on my SS/SC. That was after several 2.1, 2.2 and even a 2.3 60ft time.
The stock Pirelli tires have pretty good bight when you don't overpower them when launching.

Not to take this off topic, but Tony I was thinking on purchasing some LS2 heads/cam/springs from a member on PT.net who has a TBSS for my LQ4 shortblock. Do you see any benefit using the LS2 heads/cam vs. the LQ4 parts? I was thinking about maybe getting the heads milled slightly to bump the compression up since the LQ4 has dished pistons.

The LS2 has 243 cast heads which, if I remember correctly, don't necessarily flow better than the 317's but they have a smaller combustion chamber that makes me think if I were to slap them on my LQ4 short block it will bump the compression up a little more. But I am not 100% of this. I will probably get the heads milled .30 to help bump the CR a little more.
