ive ran a cobra before on my ss/sc, it depends on the power band that your running at. i ran him dead even from a high 2nd to throughout 3rd. we slowed down again, i dont remember from what speed. but instantly he jumped 3 cars ahead of me before i could blink twice. another good tip, make sure your the one who hits wot first

if it's not blown it's not an 03. if it's a stock 01 cobra and he ran a low 13 he's a pretty damn good driver. If this is the case i'd go with you on the roll...maybe him on dig. Depends on your tune and driving ability.

Ha!!! I prevail!!!
The 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra's 4.6-liter, DOHC V-8 is equipped with an Eaton supercharger and new aluminum alloy cylinder heads that provide increased flow capabilities. The engine produces 390 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 390 foot-pounds of torque at 3,500 rpm, compared with the 2001 model's 320 hp at 6,000 rpm and 317 foot-pounds of torque at 4,750 rpm.

i'm just confused by what they are saying. One of them is saying if it has all those mods it should beat you, but the cobra is stock...? the other is talking about 460hp and low 12's?????

These guys are just throwing stuff out there apparently. Maybe they are thinking about the Stage 3 Roush or something...
Tell him you want a 40 roll and have someone tape his reaction when you run away from him on the 3rd honk...
Then he prolly will kill himself...

There was no US 02 Cobra. There was 100 "Secret" Cobra's made and shipped to Australia. The US New Edge Cobras run from 99 and 01 4.6l dohc 4v 320bhp (actually over rated), the 00 Cobra R 5.4l dohc 4v 385bhp (under rated) and 03-04 Cobra 4.6L dohc 4V SC 390bhp (under rated).

If anyone knows anything about Cobras, I would imagine it would be you. I'm sure you've done your homework.

I did that to a guy with Stage 2, 2.85 pulley, and an intake...
after I slowed down he asked me if I was twin turbo... I 'ed and said "nope...Supercharged."
I didn't think there was. I thought it kinda jumped from 01 to 03.

The supercharged roushes came in a few flavors. the stage 3 which was a supercharged gt, the 360R (360hp blown gt) and the rare 380r. all were blown versions of the 2v 4.6.
